I am very shocked this season by what I have seen and read from Marb. He has truly grown into a real leader. His actions on and off the court speaks very loudly about his maturity. As a result, the players that he leads are following him all the way, and if that continues, there is no telling how far he can lead this team. He got his coache's back, despite the fact that it is very obvious that Lenny has dropped the ball on several occasions. I personally can't stand Lenny, but if Marb is down with him, I am too. Maybe that combo can bring us a championship very soon.





NO TIME TO LOSE: Two Knicks confirmed that Lenny Wilkens instructed the players to call time out on Wednesday regardless of whether the Pistons scored on their second to last possession. As it turned out, Richard Hamilton's jumper with 28.7 seconds remaining cut the Knicks' lead to one but the players never called for time.

The possession ended with Crawford taking a bad shot that led to a fast break for Chauncey Billups and eventually the decisive free throws.

"Coach is taking a lot of heat for that," Marbury said. "I'm basically the coach on the floor and I made the decision to give Jamal the ball and let Jamal make that decision. So if anybody should be getting (heat) it should be me. Coach wanted to call time out but he has confidence in us."

steph'll be a true leader when his teams, you know, WIN. he's been on .500 or sub .500 teams his entire career.
