This game is really werid. I just get the feeling that the Knicks will win this game as soon as they decide to win this game.

I hope this makes it official why Sweetney is so important to this team as the only low post option we have, especially when shots aren't falling from the perimeter.

Hey, the sites back on! Good win. Craw's 4 point play, but more importantly, the free throws, made all the difference.
Can't wait til Houston is able to start again, whether it be at SG or SF.

really good win. I think the team is maturing together now. I am sure this team would've blown this game 3 weeks ago. now they stood strong, made no mistakes and won the game. Looking forward to many more games like this one.

I like the balance we have.
If only we could have a mix of Crawford and Houston...

Once again TT had a good first half but disappeared in the second half, although he did hit a big jumper down the stretch...Nice win

Well, if we're mixing players, might as well throw some of JYD's defense and intensity in everyone.

AP - Dec 19, 6:43 pm EST

Crawford had been beating himself up over his shot selection toward the end of New York's one-point loss to Detroit four nights earlier when he dribbled 20 seconds off the shot clock late in the fourth quarter before launching an off-balance 17-footer that missed. The Pistons grabbed the long rebound and scored, putting the only blemish on the Knicks' record over the past five games.

Marbury telephoned Crawford later that night.

``I told him it was spilled milk and that there was nothing he could do about it now. He felt like he let the whole city down. That's how much he loves New York,'' Marbury said.

It was the memory of that jump shot that convinced Crawford to take the ball to the basket.

He had made a 3-pointer for a 79-79 tie with 4:36 left, then gave the Knicks an 83-81 lead on a four-point play with 3:50 left.

Bell's 3-pointer made it 88-86 before Crawford found himself isolated against him on the perimeter. Switching the ball on the dribble from one side to the other, Crawford got Bell to commit one way and quickly darted the other for a running 12-footer that restored a four-point lead.

``The Detroit situation played in my head. I knew I wasn't going to shoot a jumper. I was going to the hole,'' Crawford said. ``I'm glad I learned that in game 20 or 21 instead of the playoffs.''

THATS GREAT

Glad to hear that. Always looks so much better when he's driving rather than forcing up shots.

In the 2nd half they didn't even pass the ball TT until six mins left in the 3rd quarter. I don't think he touched the ball on offense until then. I think they were looking to get Crawford in the game in the 3rd and lost sight of TT.

When Houston was getting out muscled by Harpring by the end of the 2nd they should have put TT back in the game since he did a good job on him early in the game. They should have taken Crawford out who was struggling at that time and ending the half with Houston at SG & TT at SF who was playing well.

it's not that....it's because TT was not being assertive and his defense was terrible on bell
