let him cry... aside from that cameo the other night Vin's been awfull. He holds the ball until a double comes then he forces up a shot. His interior defense was utterly non-existant.

He's got expiring contract written all over him this offseason

You don't think Isiah promised to sign him as part of the crawford deal do you? Isiah would never do such a thing!
Ok, we got a chicken or egg thing. Vin is not consistant, but would he be better with more playing time? Are we wasting some talent?

Its not an unreasonable question. Many things pointed to him being able to contribute, and there are but so many minutes to go around, but Vin was very good at times last year, and he got that new heart to go now!

We are trying to bring TT back from the dead with minutes, could Vin be effective with 10-15min per nite?

Nazr good play has been a surprise plus negating Vin. IF Nazr would go down on injury, I'd rather have a semi productive Vin, then a cold Vin in the limelight.

I'm dissapointed in Vin. Before training camp I thought he had a chance to beat out Nazr for the starting center spot. Of course, no one knew Nazr would break out like he has done, but even if Naz was playing like he used to (i.e. inconsistent)I doubt Baker would get much run anyway. It's too bad b/c we really need a post presence on this team.

I just gotta think the Vin's D in practice his been pretty bad, and why not give minutes to a player like Nazr.

it's not his fault. he's just on the wrong team. oHe would help a team that has a defensive/shot-blocking center because he can still score inside and outside

Vin is useless, he is lost on Defense, he makes Allan and Jamal look like good defenders.

Right now Nazr and Crawford can get you Carter.

In essence you trading Doleac Mutumbo harrington williams

for Carter.

Isiah would make a good fantasy bball gm

Yea wait until VC comes back and they play the knicks again, JC won't even check Carter. Man you guys are crazy Carter is better than craw, keep watching you'll see.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

The thing is that in just a couple of years Crawford can become a better player than Carter was when he was on his prime. Crawford can be great, and you want to trade him for half of what's left of Carter? Please! lets be patient with Crawford. Trading for Carter doesn't make us a serious contender yet anyway...

Carter was great...you're right we'd be trading Crawford who is 24 and on the rise for half of the old Carter who is only getting older and NAZR!!!

I agree with Vin. It is one thing if he was given minutes during the season like TT and faltered, but that is not the case at all. Lenny just doesn't know how to manage. There are times in many games where we could have used a big lineup on the court to counter with other teams, but Lenny's abilities don't expand that far. In his early years as a coach, he was very good, but the last 10 years have not been good for Lenny. Could it be age? maybe, but his thinking senses and ingame adjustments have been detrimental to the teams that he has been with. I do believe that instead of playing guys like Nazr, Thomas, Marb, Crawf 40 minutes back to back, he could find ways to play some of our backups some decent minutes.

whens that going to happen? I heard it could be 2007 before Vince decides he's healthy enough to play basketball. Until then he will be rehabbing his tummy aches and strength training by dancing at nightclubs.

Sorry... Wince has no heart and his best days are over.

That being said, with all the help we need up front, I can't see why he doesn't get a shot. He's not going to get better never playing.
