I would be ok with that. Rahim's D is bad but he gives you scoring the KT doesnt. He can also play both forward spots.

Since you forget about opponent's FG% and embrace the fact that you are going to outgun your opponent every night I would put Houston at SF.
I would rather include Baker than JYD, but whatever...

I'm not high on Rahim but he's a nice piece to have we get beat in two spots everynight SF and PF. we arent stopping anyone but you can always outscore your opponent.

Patterson is among the best defenders in the NBA. Rahim is a bigger more athletic guy than Thomas who can post up. The combination of rahim and patterson on the D is better than TT and KT or atleast = at a minimum + the team gets more athletic and gets a post up BIG.

I agree... I would prefer to start Houston because it lets you bring in Patterson for any of 3 players. Just gives Lenny more flexbility adjustment wise.

I would like a way to keep Jerome.. having Jerome and Patterson together would be very good when you need D to fight back into games. I think Patterson is available for doodoo. Rahim is tougher.

Remember Port said bye bye to their cap space when they resigned Ratliff and Zach, so Rahim is the one real piece they have to upgrade their team.

When you hear talks for guys like Kidd I find it tough that we could land Rahim without giving up Crawford or Nazr

if rahim/patterson is the best we can do for KT then do it only because of patterson'd D. if it was rahim only we'd be in big trounle. question is why would portland want KT?

I wouldn't do the deal with Ariza included. If that's the deal breaker, they can keep Shareef. I also think they can use Shareef's expiring contract to get much better players than what you're offering. Out of the eight players involved in the deal, they're giving up the best player and also the best contract. It makes no sense for them.

I wouldn't do it. I like rahim a lot but I think Patterson is highly overrated, and why are we trading away KT + JYD + Ariza + a couple million for A borderline all-star and the other team's junk? Patterson is NOTHING. He is EXTREMELY overrated, aging, and has a really bad deal. To me, trading away your energy guy + your ONLY consistent low post defender + your most highly touted prospect for the future for a guy who isn't even a legit allstar is ridiculous.

I would take Kurt/Ariza/JYD over Rahim and Patterson.

Dealing Kurt Ariza and JYD is way too much for Raheem. Kurt and Penny can bring us Raheem. After watching how my man Jamison is doing in D.C., I don't see why Raheem couldn't fit in N.Y. instead of Kurt. He is a big man that can occasionaly step out and drain the three, and most of all can work on the low-post.
