If you evaluate the game fairly, we played so well-bUT we take a much higher % of shots from the rather deep perimeter. and we did a great job of knocking down shots, yet you need a post up BIG to take the pressure off the perimeter players and get a higher % shot at certain junctures of the game.

Those people screaming at Craw, number 1 we arent close in this game without him and he played reasonable defense.
number 2 he was forced a few times to take the shot, shots that were at poor , deepish angles.

We cant have a situation where Nazr and KT are playing all of these minutes. If Sweetney is hurt or they dont trust him???? then put in baker to post up a few times in each half. Baker can post, but for some reason we wont use him.

I as very encouraged by Baker and Sweetney against Wash, because I understand the value of the post up BIG. Its a high% shot and gives perimeter players more space. But we over played our starting BIGS and that was the cause of the loss--they got tired and they couldnt rebound the ball in the 4th.

was very surprised that sweetney didn't get off the bench at all. was it b/c of the fouls last night? i don't know but lenny coached it like it was a game 7. he could've held up against dice at least. didn't like that.

it's because we had a lead throughout against the defending nba champions and Lenny was too scared to mess with it

Good post Briggs, I agree, the fact that we are scoring this many points mainly from the perimeter is a testament to how good, craw, marbs and Houston were, along with KT, but we need some more easy hoops, a big man who can get the ball down low late in games and get fouls, draw double teams, things like that.. we need that more than anything..

unfortunately Sweetney isn't that guy but Rasheed Wallace and Elton Brand are

I had been saying this as well. We can't hope for all of our jumpshots to fall all of the time. Stpeh wasn't 100% either which I think hurt us. We definitely need some post up play badly.
