WOW!

right now we are in position of strength. we are over .500 and will make it to the playoffs easy and give a better battle in the playoffs.

If it is the same BRIGGS...wow, just wow.

why? i wouldnt trade crawford for VC or for that much pretty much anyone else in that bracket. of course he has to hone his skills and use the dribble drive and dish more--and yes hes smallish on the D--but hes an explosive talent, very explosive, young and healthy. to make some dumb remark about JC for a washed up VC is dumb.

yes the knicks are in a position of strength. we are in the position we that has been laid out adn IMHO, have shown rather staggering improvements in various facets. does that mean we are anything much more than .5? NO, but we are improved and we will win games in the playoffs -- if we find a deal that a no-brainer--cool, but otherwise dont try to be a hero zeke.

by the way, where we hurt bad is the 3. Tim Thomas is putrid terrible awful. I knew inserting JYD would be a better solution. We also need another G we can count on for sharp play and a real big time 4-5.

for now HOPEFULLY we can get JYD into the SL and maybe coming off the bench will help him.

I agree 100% with Briggs. We need craw and I am looking foward to seeing his next 5+ yrs here when he will be in his prime. We need to add to this nucleus not subtract its main cogs. I would however be happy to add vc at the expense of tt and others. vc is only 27 and I don't think he is washed up.
Briggs-- Frank is 2 yrs away from being 2 years away

Ariza will be a major contributor this very year. WE're losing sight of him in the current Dog-mania. Give TA his time - that dude is a flat-out baller.

why is this a suprise? Agree or disagree w/ Briggs he's consistant at the risk of killing you with repitition. Skills, athleticism, size, skills, athleticism... ok Jamal isnt big but at least he's not short and the guy's skills and quickness are off the charts. He makes others better, he play unselfish, he's shown he can carry you offensively, he's shown he can hit buzzer beaters to win games, the coaches love him and he's 24 and getting better every week. Vince is getting worse every week.

It surprises all of us because (a) Jamal Crawford is a Knick and (b) Briggs actually found something positive to say about him. That's a rare enough combination for everyone here to be shocked and discussing it on its own thread!

Jamal is not strong enough to carry us late in the season at 165lb.

ASK Kobe what he had to do with his skin and bones physique when he first came in the league.

He will wear down come playoff time and the jump shot selection miscues might be off the charts.

VC IS THE WAY TO GO.

Vince is currently on IR. Yes... I'm sure he would be leading us to victory in his Puffy designer sweats on the bench.

Especially seeing them together Crawford has exactly the same build Rip Hamilton does.

Isn't the goal to have a 3 guard system? Craw off the bench?

TT is messing this up, but that is the blue print. If Isiah can get Vince without giving up Marbs, Nazr, craw I would believe he would try. We can give the raps financial relieve, but not much more!
