you'd have to give Philly more than just Jalen Rose for Dalembert. Why would they want Jalen's contract! they can find a scorer for much less. Maybe they'll take a shot at Wagner. Wagner & Diop for Dalembert, G-Rob makes a lot of sense for both Cleveland and Philly.

here's a good trade for both teams:

Philly trades Dalembert and G-Rob
Cleveland trades Wagner & Diop

Philly gets the potential scoring they need and a shot blocker to replace Diop.

Cleveland gets the shooter they need in G-Rob and makes Illgaukus expendable.

so Phili gives up and expiring contract and one of the NBA's more promising young bigmen and gets back Jalen Rose and his 3 years and $45mm remaining?

I was thinking one possibility would be sending TT to Portland for Reuben Patterson. This makes sense for both clubs... Patterson doesnt really play there and wants to leave. Port has tried to trade him. The problem is the $$$. We would need to get a 3rd team involved to take Derreck Anderson and send us back a player in the $6mm range. Something not impossible would ZO. NJ's guards are worse than bad and DA is a good fit for their needs.

Check this out (I swore I wouldnt use this thing as it creates more worthless discussion than not, but this is damn good if I say so myself)

NY trades: Tim Thomas
NY recieves: Reuben Patterson, ZO

NJ trades: Zo
NJ recieves: Derrick Anderson (same amount of years)

Port trades: Derick Anderson, Reuben Patterson
Port recieves: Tim Thomas (they save $14mm as TT has one more year vs. Patterson and DA both have 2 left)

Seems to me like everyone gets something pretty good

man Philly has Iverson to play for how many more years?

They are playing well without Dalembert and Glenn.....I'm thinking of it like they are moving players that aren't in their plans for a player that might actually play well with Iverson.

You guys are talking like Rose isn't a good player.

Timmy, Glenn and Dalembert is more realistic then just Timmy and Penny.......

Timmy for Carter is a no brainer.....

This could really do it.....

I can't believe you guys are just talking about contracts.....this trade works talent wise for all involved.
