Get your bashing like a good dog because you deserve it and you know you do. Nazr has been wonderful as time goes on, while Mourning is what most of us predicted..... injured. Panic trades is not the way with the Knicks, and they should never be.

IMO, trading T.T would be a panic trade because we can use his contract at an advantage come seasons' end. All $13,975,000. Agree or Disagree?

personally I would rather use the MLE to add a player and let Penny and TT's combined $30mm just come off the books. Next year you have Nazr/Moochie/Baker expiring deals to use.

I still want Zo, but I dont know if anyone (Briggs) said it should be for Nazr. I think it was Baker/Moochie + $3mm which I would still do. Even a limited Zo playing 15-20 minutes will win us more games. Think Zo would have let Brandon Haywood beat us down the stretch? Thats one game right there.

although i'm a big fan of zo the former player, and i am against zo's decision to be playing now, he does give the knicks something they don't have. the problem is, you can't rely on it b/c you don't know when he'll be able to play and when he won't. it's a tough situation and frustrating one, especially for a coach. acquiring him may be low risk but let's say he wins you the game vs. washington but has to be benched tonight vs detroit b/c he's sore. tough to have a player like that on your team. he would be great on a team that's already a 50+ game winner b/c they can win without him. but for us, where every game is important, it's tough to rely on him.

Alonzo is one of those players I would Never want to see in a Knicks uniform... He was the main catalyst in that Playoff fight that got Ewing and about half our starters suspended when we lost to the Heat in the playoffs way bak when... He could be a good guy or whatever.. But I will never want him or Reggie Miller anywhere near this team.

thing is, we can afford to pay a player that will only play 50-60 games and 15-20 minutes at the most. He's got something we need and is a real weapon for Lenny off the bench. Heck, there will be days like yesterday when we dont need to play him at all, but other days when he can play 20 minutes and change the game.

Not only that, he went to play for the Nets after he played for the Heat. The two teams I hate the most as a Knick fan.

Amen!

ok, i'll step up...i said the Knicks should trade Nazr for Zo & a 1st round pick from NJ...Nazr's playing great lately, but even so, i can't say i wouldn't take a chance on that type of deal, especially considering NJ will likely be in the lottery.

as for TT, trading him would NOT be a panic move, because he's STUNK all season long! don't give me this CRAP that his contract will be a "valuable trade piece" because he only has 1 year left on his deal...the truth of the matter is, he's on the books for $24 million & he's playing like an NBDL player at this point...you'd have better luck trading Moochie Norris right now than you would trading Tim Thomas.

if im NJ I take the chance on TT. Zo is not winning them a title anytime soon and is TT goes back to his career average of 15pts he will defintely help them at SF/PF. haha imagine that.. TT going to the Nets lol at least he'll be 15min from his hometown. I'm still not sure I'd make the trade from a Knicks stand point since I don't think Zo will last an entire season even with limited playing time. But if he could play at the end season he will defintely help us in the playoffs as a starter or off the bench. I hate Miami and NJ too but it wouldn't bother me because once he's a Knick he's a Knick. You'll see him in orange & blue not black and red.

Oh please, when Zo was averagin 3 blks a game and lookin halthy and Mohammed could not make a layup in the beginning of the year you'd be jumping with joy if that trade happened.

Now he is looking good and you feel the need to call people out, like you just stumbled on something incredibe that nobody else notices.

Props for Mohammed, but what he is doing was not predictable at all. Its great that it happened, but if you say you expectd this our him then you are a liar.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

If the playing well Nazr is well thought of by other GM's, and this value packaged right can get us a Curry that has the potential to be much better than Nazr can be, then yeah, lets do that.

Nazr on this team will not lead us to the finals. He has played great, but lets be real.

I don't think this team should try to win now, it should play well and elevate the value of its players to use on future assets. Stay competitive, but build a real team.

Nazr should not be used to get Wince Harder. Loren Woods is awful!

no one expected this. Nazr was awful in camp. We all wanted to start KT and Sweets but Nazr is just getting stronger and stronger now that Ramadan is over

I know Briggs offered Sweetney for Zo; I think you're right about him offering Nazy at one point too

Zo only makes 19mil for 3 years. TT makes 28mil for 2 years. So that extra year with Zo isn't that bad. The question will NJ make the deal.
