just to get a different perspective and hear what other announcers had to say about Knick players (and uber-biased announcers)

Here's what I learned...
Ian Eagle is RJ's lover (or he wants to be)
Crawford has no range (he can shoot from anywhere)
Crawford's best asset is he can score from anywhere
Crawford's worst problem is can score from anywhere
TT did two things to help the Knicks tonight. Both times he came out Jerome Williams came in (they really said that! Classic!)
Marbury is a great PG
KT really is a good player for the Knicks (sorry, any player matched against Scalabrine looks great for their team. Lets check back after tomorrow night)
The refs make bad calls against Sweetney (Net announcers actually said that 2 of Mike's offensive fouls were bad calls against him)
Moochie is a good backup
Nazr might be playing his way to an all star game
The Nets were great before this year

Kelly really annoys the hell out of me. Ian not as much but it really ticked me off and was funny as the same time when he said.....Well we came into this game wondering where do both of these teams stand but after today's game we are still left wondering. It seemed like he was using the excuse of Kidd not being able to play during the 3rd quarter when the Knicks took over the game as the reason for them losing. It sounded like he actually still believed the Nets are better than the Knicks. I was like you are crazy!!! It was already clear who the better team was before the game even started!

Well, with Kidd in in the beginnnig they started 20-8, Kidd came out and we got the lead hading into the 2nd half. Kidd was untill late when got back into the game, but I can see where they are coming from. Nets with Kidd playin 40 minutes is a big difference with Nets with Kidd playing 20 minutes. They aren't great, but in the East, at least a .500 team.

I mean cmon, don't tell me Nets with Kidd and Zo healthy and long minutes are worse then Sixers, Raptors, etc.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Talentwise they are worse then both the Knicks and Celtics, but they have a really good coach, and a special player in Kidd who makes scrubs look like good role players, good players look like starts, and stars look like superstars.

With the excellent D they play, Kidd, and Frank's outstanding coaching, they could easily end up with a better record then the incredibly inconsistent Boston, and might even catch the Knicks if we conintue to remain at or around the .500 mark.

it's incredible how much more bias the Nets commentators are then the Knicks's. You never heard breen, cylde, or marv criticize the Nets but you always here them criticize the Knicks

maybe it's the jealous factor and the Knick's guys don't take the Nets as a serious organization.

the knicks went on their 13-2 run in the second half while Kidd was on the floor, didn't they?

They did, but Kidd was really god in the beginning and end of the game. Imagine 40 minutes of Kidd. One runw ould not negate that so easily.

nah I think Kidd only plays the beginning and end of games. New Jersey is wrong if they think they lost because Kidd got out of rhythm sitting that long. He came back in the game and looked fine and was the only reason the score was Close. the blame needs to be put on RJ for not passing then ball when he's triple teamed to someone like Eric Williams who can score. Also losing Travis Best hurt because he can score.

Yeah, I don't know what RJ's deal was today, he took a lot of Crawfard shots lol.

And the last play of the game, they needed a 3 and he drove in, stopped just beyond the 3, stood there for liek 10 sec, and gave a bad pass to a guy that was not even open.

He def helped us a lot today.

This is the main negative about Crawford but Marv said it best. Crawford made his name and got his big contract by taking all shots and scoring a lot of points. He was the main offense in Chicago as the guy that played point, shooting guard and scored. Now he has to learn to be an efficient scorer which will also take a little more than 21 games as a Knick.

the start of the game the Nets were hitting shots and the Knicks werent. It was nothing more complicated than that. There was nothing spectacular about Kidd.. our jumpers werent falling.

One thing about the knicks the nets didn't have to deal with before is crawford.. As much as I like Houston, he can with pressure be denied the ball, crawford can get free at any time, denying him the ball is tough, and when he gets it, people know he will shoot from anywhere and he can score from anywhere, it makes it tough on defenses, espeically when he is hitting shots...

When he is not hitting his shots, he has the ability to pass the ball to the right person for easy baskets. He will hopefully learn to do that soon.

Listen it's ok when he shoots all over the universe and the knicks win, but what happen when they lose.

For some reason I get the feeling that some think since we have no true consistent low post threat, that Jamal has the ability to make "OTHER GOOD TEAMS" forget that by knocking down shots from Flatbush AVE that we can knock them off in games.

Don't we know that the playoffs are a diffferent baby. Some might not be thinking that far huh?
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

good point. He plays hard and has the right attitude. He's never had good veterans to learn from. He's already a good player but I think he's only going to get better by learning from Isiah, Lenny, Houston, Steph, and Penny.
so I watched the game on YES
