I guess the key to the deal is paying dividends and Doleac was all he cost us

Today was the first time in a while I have talked about Doleac. My friend is a big heat fan, and was not familiar with Doleac (nor the NBA in general apparently, seeing as he though Doleac was AK47).
From what he is telling me, his jumper is not looking good, and kept complaining that he took too many outside jumpers.

But to get back on topic, 8 blocks? Nazr? Wow! I never would have seen it coming. Too bad we couldn't see that every night.

I think Zeke traded Doleac at the height of his value. Thats not to say he cant be consistent...but NY does the pick and roll pretty damn well...while the Heat seems to be the Shaq and Flash show - not much room for other players.

If I were them I would try to move Wade for Amare and put him next to Shaq. That would be sick.

I can't believe that some of you still want to trade Nazr instead of Kurt. Nazr is now averaging 2 blks per game....

Why do you continue to have a problem with KT. he played a good game today, if you need to trade someone you trade tiny tim. KT at this time means too much to this team. you hear breen, clyde and all the others praise him for intangibles. Nazr and KT are both good. Seasoned veteran, you can beat that jumper that he has, sets good picks, plays good defense and rebounds with "gusto". I said it before and ill say it again KT is not the problem. Lenny knows that, IT knows that.

Good post. Kurt is a good player, but he is 32 and Isaiah seems to be in the process of assembling a younger group of players to keep us competitive in the future. I wouldn't be to quick to trade Kurt, but if he was part of a deal for the right player - someone younger who was talented and a good fit - I'd seriously consider it. I definitely wouldn't trade Nazr now. He's not only playing well, he's done it consistently.

The answer to that question is simple: TT's contract is too big and his value has gotten worst. However, Kurt's is still high and we can get something good in return for him. His presence is good, but is not what we need to go over the top. The longer we keep him, is the longer it will take us to reach the top. Stackhouse was a great player for Detroit, in fact he was their leading scorer, but as soon as they have traded him, that team became a much better squad. I do believe that they won the championship a year later. You have to lose to gain.
