there really is no reason anymore for tim to be starting. it's time for jyd to get the nod.

1. improves our defense
2. takes pressure off tim

I agree, i would problay say houston but he's not ready yet. jyd would be good as to get us off on the right defensive foot but then we would lose that edge iff the bench. Lenny is coaching smart, he yanks tim out everytime, nice to have options

I can't argue...but I like the energy JYD brings off the bench. If TT can just start off as the 5th body, and bring in JYD once the team realizes they can go to their 3, we're not in too bad of shape.
Just as long as JYD sees the minutes.

Last time this thread started up I said I thought JYD was better for the team off the bench. I still think this team would lose a lot if he were starting because we dont have any player coming off the bench who provides as much spark as he does. But I will admit he would make a good starter.

So what happens to Tim?

About time that someone finally sees things my way a little. We don't need anymore offensive players on the court, what we need is a pest like JYD at all time in our starting lineup. Forget about Houston as a starter, he is a freaking SG and that is where he should play. It is now time to do things the right way. We need a defensive SF, and JYD is that man.

I would prefer a defensive PF who was an absolute beast...or a center. the SF position on this team would almost be a non factor if we had someone up front who could score...someone beside him who could block and rebound, and the guards we have would be lethal.

You have perhaps also read some posts where I have called for JYD to start instead of TT. I am not dumb enough to know when a guy is not doing well to yank his ass off of the court. I have called for JYD to be traded to the Knicks ever since the end of last season, and I didn't ask for him to become a bench player. As much as I may like a player, I like the Knicks even more. The hell with TT, especially if he refuses to bring his A game consistently.
