Does it make sense to address every need with a Trade?

We have Nazr playing very well this year. Craw is stil Raw, and should get better. Allan will need 20 games to get it all back if it in fact happens.

Sweets and Azira have great upside. They will have ups and downs this season. TT can only get better! And he is improving. Hopefully Vin does the same and not make Dolan/Isiah look stupid.

My point, we can play better, and we are improving as the season progresses. This is not a championship caliber team yet.

We should look into players that are available, but as fans we consider EVERY SINGLE RUMORED PLAYER AVAILABLE regardless of the fit of that player.

If we can make a significant move, of course we should consider it. But the reality is there is far less player movement than that which is hyped. And too many trades make other holes that need addressing.

We went from Layden's abyss to miraculous mediocrity under the leadership of Isiah Thomas. That being said, do you want to stop there?

Heck no, you have to keep trying to improve the team. That's why Zeke (correctly) continues to explore trade possibilities.

i have no problems not making any moves this season and just playing it out. all our real chips come after the season.

any move made during the season this year would be either to take a step back to make progress later or lateral. i can't think of any move we can do during this year to make us better for this season without hurting us in the long run.

after the season, we got nazr, moochie, tim, and penny all expiring as well as some picks. right now, all we have is ariza and sweetney, and possibly nazr. that's not going to yield too much right now.
