oh I know Kidd's had more success and is considered the best PG in the league but who would you consider Steph's rival in the leauge? It hasn't really panned out with him and AI. Maybe because of the NJ-Phoe trade, or their both being in the NY area now or both having high assist avgs or the physical intensity, I'm not sure what but I really do think of them as rivals. IS there soemone else you think has been Steph's main rival?

in order to have a rivalry people have to care. Until the Knick start really winning games and establish themselves as a real threat in the East (not to be confused by the Atlantic) nobody will care. In the past when you had Starks/Reggie, Knicks/Heat it was because these were the good teams and they had great postseason battles. we are talking about a combined 17-22 record. This isnt exciting.

And fishmike is right, this can't exaclty be called a rivalry due to the teams records. Back in 90's the Knicks and Heat/Pacers were always competing for a spot. The Nets would be lucky to get in the playoffs this year, and the Knicks may bot get homecourt. Little different but I do want payback for last year

It's been 20 games now, Lenny had an entire training camp with these guys. If we lose to this pathetic roster from across the river who embarrassed us in the playoffs last yr, nobody should claim anything for this team.


Certain teams in the div you have to be up for no excuses about being flat. THIS IS ONE THE NEW JERSEY NETS.
