Celtics have the pieces to make a deal this year to improve the team.
I think it is possible to get Donyell Marshall from the raptors for a pick and an ending contract. They could do a similar deal for Curry. the Celtics sure as heck have the goods to make themselves better--they need rebounding and Donyell is a very good rebounder.

Think every team has a fan base that wants to trade-trade-trade.

In reality, very little gets done. If up to fans, there would be a trade every week!

not me.. unless some opportunity comes up because of a firesale I'm perfectly happy to play the season with this roster.

If I can get a draft pick and expiring contract for KT along the way I do it. If the Nets will give me Zo for Baker/Norris cash I do that. But I'm perfectly happy going into offseason with what we have.

I have no problem doing this the slow way, and I would be 100% fine if we can use the LLE exception on Ariza and lock up his Bird rights.

Even if we do nothing else we come back with a team that has a lot of firepower. We will have another young guy from the draft and we will have Baker, Moochie, Nazr, Penny and TT in final years to as the year goes on.

The Celtics went into double overtime against the same LA team that we beat by double digits. I'm sure if the situation had been reversed (with us needing double OT and Boston blowing out LA), a few pessimists here would be writing nonstop about it.
