If you believe 25% of what Berman rights than Houston will start for TT eventually (he says so about 4 times).

Thank god too.. we are 10-10 and essentially getting nothing, and I mean nothing from TT. Can anyone remember a shot he made that impacted us winning the game? I liked him at the end of last year, but ever since the Collins hit and the surfacing of the fugazziness its like this guy has grown a vagina.

Putting Houston there will immediatly create more space for Marbury and Crawford, give us (another) mismatch on O and an unselfish veteran player with his own bad of tricks.

I would rather have a defensive beast there, but Houston gives you something. TT gives you crapola. This guy should be selling street-meat outside the Gardeen... not playing in it.

TT is a mental case. If you watch this 6'10" player (who can jump out of the gym), you'll notice he doesn't want to mix it up. He's soft. I wish we could get rid of his ***.

Sweet's should be playing BIG minutes and they can revolve Houston, KT and Ariza but, bench for TT.

if h20 does replace tim in the starting lineup, i hope we implement some zone into our defense. h20 will get torched by some SF's in the league and our team defense is pretty awful so maybe the zone can sort of stop the bleeding at times. on offense, it's going to be great. teams can no longer play zone against us, and i really want h20 and nazr/sweets to play that in and out game. in the last game, everytime somebody posted on the same side as houston, he delivered the ball in the post (like the ewing/lj days). maybe we can start doing that again allowing nazr and sweets to operate a little more freely down low.

Can we win if we're undersized at EVERY position? Think about the starting 5 --
Marbs -- strong so being 6'2" doesn't hurt him against most PG's
Craw -- shorter and weaker than pretty much every starting 2 in the league
H20 -- shorter and weaker than pretty much every starting 3 in the league
KT -- shorter and weaker than pretty much every starting 4 in the league
Nazr -- shorter and weaker than pretty much every starting 5 in the league

Ouch

Actually, on defense, I think Houston might be better off at SF than SG. The guys he'll be guarding will be stronger but slower now. Houston's very strong but slow. I think he'd struggle more to guard SGs than SFs. The area that this hurts us is rebounding, but we've been destroying teams on the boads so far. We can afford to sacraficie a little rebounding.

funny- Houston will know what its like to play out of position, just like Sprewell did when the two of them were both here.

the way this team is built, we need to outscore other teams to win- i.e., we aren't going to win games with our defense like a Detroit will, we're molded as a kind of Dallas/Sac east- so it makes sense to have as much fire power out on the court as can be had.

To be fair to Tim, he did hit a big 3 pointer in the Washington game that should have won the game (damn Refs ) and he also hit a big much-needed 3 in the Orlando game if I'm not mistaken, yet we lost again (starting to notice a trend here). Anyway, Tim hasn't been playing great but I wouldn't say he is playing poorly either. He has been shooting the ball better lately and he has also improved on the defensive end. One thing he hasn't been doing though is he really hasn't been taking a lot of shots even when he is playing well. I do agree that Houston can give us more at the 3, but I would like to see Tim take more shots before being benched. He can take over on any given night, I'm just surprised he hasn't tried to in any game this season.

What if TT comes out and play a stellar game and help us crunch the other team, will you all still feel the same way? What if he sustains that same performance for a good 10 games? New Yorkers tend to have short memories. Not too long ago, you all wanted Crawf to go to the bench. Check this out, the last five games Crawf took 84 shots and only made 39, while Timmy took 46 and made 21 out of that, 7 out of 13 (3s). There is a big disparity on the shot selection that Crawf and Marburry are allowed to take, compare to what TT is allowed to do. Maybe if Lenny was to give him the green light to shoot the ball, he probably would have a bigger help than what he is reduced to now. Don't get me wrong, in the beginning of the season he was taking some illadvise shots, but things are improving a little with this dude. Instead of letting Crawf take all of those shots, maybe TT should be sharing some of those shots with him. Besides, his percentage is much better than Crawfs

like i keep saying, Houston would be a better option right now at SF than Tiny Fugazy, undersized or not...the way Tim is playing you mine as well start Moochie at SF for crying out loud!

coming off the bench could be good for Timmy too...he could match up against smaller 2nd team players & find success that way...maybe it will help him get his rhythm back & the vaginal cramping will be minimalized.

Exactly, anything is better than TT at small forward; he just isn't producing

right, and then jamison came right back and scored with an uncontested shot down the lane.

tim does take and hit big shots. but we didn't win that game and he hasn't done jack the whole year. he has shown "flashes" of some actual intensity and emotion out there recently but even those are few and far between. he's giving us ZERO from the 3 spot.

maybe he turns it around but i'm not waiting for it. i pretty much gave up on him already.

i can remember TT hitting a three versus Washington that should've sealed the game if Kurt thomas wasn't so flat-footed

Still too mad to talk about the Washington game. I'll let you know my thoughts on it sometime next season.

if in the meantime TT averages close to his career average of 15pts 5rebs instead of 9pts 1reb then maybe they can leave him in there

i'm really getting tired of his 9pt/1reb games.

TT's career avg's aren't even close to 15 & 5...that's closer to his career HIGH's.

I think his averages as a starter are close to that.

let's just say in 26 mpg over his 7 year NBA career, he averages 11.8 points & 4.1 rebounds...other than last season for a span of 24 games as a NY Knick, he's never eclipsed 15 ppg in a single season for any team he's ever played on.
