i couldnt think of a worse move. the only trade accptable to me is houston for VC--thats OK. if we give up a combination that includes TT and Nazr, were going right to the gutter and were not getting out.
Getting NAME players doesnt always work, especially guys who really are a shell of themselves. The guy has tendinitis running down his right leg from the knee to the foot. Look what happened to penny--never the same. Thats all we need another gimp who shoots fallaway 25 footers.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I don't want Vince on this team...we don't need another scorer, bring in a defender.
Please Zeke, keep Vince away from the Big Apple.

Unless of course, all we mainly give up is TT. (Here's hoping for Babcock to go insane).

I'll stay away from what it takes to pry VC away from Toronto, but there are 2 things that come to mind.

#1 - it's weird to me that Isiah is the only GM who is pursuing Vince. It makes me wonder if VC's mom has called Isiah and told him that her son is really OK and is just dogging it a bit. (Could be that the flu has gotten to me a bit more than I expected though and clogged my brain. ) Does anyone remember the years when Hakeem had blood clotts in his legs and he was constantly pissed about his contract and demanded to be traded from Houston? That was a couple of years before he went on a 4 year tear and nabbed 2 championships. Not saying Vince is going to do that, but more than 1 all-star has made a dramatic return.

#2 - Can you believe we are talking about either trading Nazr or Crawford plus extras for VC? Let's put it in another way: We are trading Doleac or Fwill/Trybanski/Othella/Deke for VC!!! Wow, Isiah is turning this team around!

How about we got very fortunate that Nazr has really developed and is now leading the league in offensive rebounding and is shooting nearly 60% and has been a beast in the paint? Nazr is coming into hsi own and VC is breaking down like a cheap used car. By the way MRI's dont lie--they guy has tendititis running from his knee to his ankle. Its just a matter of time and POOF.

If we trade H2O for VC--thats reasonable because both have similarities. Trading young BIGS for a perimeter based player is assinine.

Funny how ISAIAH THOMAS fans have no faith in him wanting VC for NAZR + TT.

Did Zeke all of a sudden lose his eye for talent or chemistry?

If we get a healthy VC for and TT + Nazr we would turn into the phoenix suns of the East.

Start KT at center and Sweeney at the 4 VC at the 3 and Craw at the 2 and steph at the 1.

Who are you gonna double? Somebody else is gonna hurt ya.

VC in NY would set us off, Nazr isn't a difference make he's actually playing over his head thanks to Aguirre and Zeke knows that.

If we think teams focus on Steph wait until Houston and Craw are knocking down shots.

Since are defense is sooooooooooo weak , Zeke has no choice but to turn us into the 2003 Dallas Mavericks to get past the 2nd rd of the playoffs.

REMEMBER KT PLAYED HIS BEST BALL AT THE CENTER POSITION.

Whoa - this team would be as good as the Suns?? In the backcourst, sure, but we get killed upfront. KT against Amare? Lights out. Sweetney against Marion? Sorry but same thing. VC against QRich? Sorry there is no such thing as a healthy VC, what you see is what you get. He gets manhandled by QRich.

Playa.. we dont need Vince for that. Did you watch Houston? People think of Houston and they think he's a 100mm guard who just sits and launches 3's. Just because he's not a dunker doesnt mean he cant drive. The guy is a complete offensive player.

I like your thinking, but forget Vince.

Play Houston, Craw, Marbury and 2 guys that can go get the ball off the glass. Thats what Seattle is doing and we have the personel for it. Jerome, KT, Nazr and Sweetney all get the ball. We need more size but those 4 arent bad.

Look, we arent going to be a good defensive team when it comes to limiting opposing FG%, but we can get a lot of steals, work the glass and still contest shots. That 3 guard attack will also get those bigs so many easy/open shots. Lets play hard and force teams to gun with us.

Fishy, I hope your not judging houston 1 drive layup against6'9 defensively challenged Rodney White as him being a complete player.

Seattle gets away with playing small ball in the west becuz it has so many 7ters who can't keep up, but the knicks play in the east and there's not too many biggs in the east.

I watch VC almost every game he has played in this yr and he still has it. I think like Martin said...he's dogging it a little just to be traded. What happens when you don't go all out ya get hurt.LOL

I like Houston and don't want him traded for VC. WE NEED MORE VETS COME PLAYOFF TIME WHO ISN'T AFRAID TO TAKE OVER AND WHO WON'T BE CHUCKING UP BAD SHOTS.JC

Houston is my favorite Knick. Dont get me wrong, I love Starbury, Crawfors, Sweets, KT etc but H20 is the man. I dont care if he doesnt have many dimensions to his game, he has been here when times were good, when times were bad and now back again.

Zeke will take the right approach and see how he meshes with the team before pulling the trigger on a trade. Last year H20 and Marbury were setting it off when they played together - now with Crawford in the mix, Nazr balling, Sweetney improving, Arize on the rise - I see no reason why this team needs a player like VC has has not brought anything but problems to Toronto. Houston is a winner and a class act - thats a lot more then you can say of VC. I do not want him on this team.

Correction: I do not want him on this team if it costs us Houston or Nazr.....TT, Penny, and Moochie can pack their bags though (although it would be ashame to lose Penny).

Damn our team is stacked right now - maybe not with Biggs but we have some great talent.

if vc were to be traded to ny i would think starbury would have to be part of the deal. starbury is probably the only player that can match vc star status value that raptors may consider. for starters, you may want vc + jalen rose = starbury + tt

Neither do I (the TT exception notwithstanding). Carter is fool's gold, he is fragile and he plays no defense. His best days are likely behind. He is emblematic of the worst part of being a fan of a New York team: a superstar on the downside who would be acquired for his past reputation rather than his future.

How about this one: If the Cavs trade Lebron for Shandon Anderson, they are just stupid. It would be a complete Layden move. Disgusting on the part of the Cavs. I know the Cavs didn't really make this trade, but it's a trade that my imagination thought of and it would be an awful trade for the Cavs. So, I can't help but criticize the Cavs for the trade.

Somehow, I think the possiblity that Nazr will be traded for Vanessa Carter is just a little bit more likely.

The likelihood of the trade is irrelevant. What matters is that my imagination was capable of thinking of this trade.
