I have always covetted him and with his post scoring he could really do it for us. However, does this make sense for us and portland?

TT/Ariza for Shareef.

I would do this, I think he adds alot more to our team than we lose by letting those guys go. But would portland do it?

Killa, I'm starting to notice a trend. I have just read three or four of your trade ideas, and you seem to be throwing Ariza in all of them.
Why not just throw in Frank Williams or Frederick Weis? It's ok, I'm sure no one will notice.

Lol! Im sure Isiah is trying hard to bring him back because he needs him for the next trade he wants to get done. Who doesn't love to throw in Franky on every deal?

Why bringing Shareef to NY and trade two small forwards in the process? Its known that Shareef doesn't want to play small forward and by losing TT and Ariza you have no one else to play SF. And if right now there is some kind of trouble finding time for KT, Nazr, Sweets, JYD and Baker, when will Shareef play?

If he could play SF for us you could think about it, but he doesn't.

And why thrown in Ariza when he could become a better player than both TT and Shareef? I want Ariza to grow and improve here because he could become a very special player. Thank God Isiah has him as untouchable...

Knicks actaully need Shareef.......I would rather have Shareef right now instead of KT.
Talk about pick and roll? What? Shareef and Terry were pretty good in that role.......

Shareef can stretch it out to three too....plus dude can post up and face up......

Yup....i want Shareef.....trade KT while he is still hot.

I would like to get Shareef, but I don't know what we could offer. He is an extremely talented player with a 14.6 mil expiring contract.
What are you prepared to give up?

the reason I have been putting his name in is because his value is high and his price is low. Don't get me wrong, I really like Ariza, I think he is special but he is a valuable trading piece when you want to get someone proven in return.

I don't see him becoming someone like Shareef. He doesn't have the body type to be a dominant low post player. And if you can get something quality in return I would say do it. He isn't untouchable in my mind. I like sweets waaay better than him, although in many respects it is an unfair comparison because they bring different things to the game. Sweets could very well become a dominant post player soon. Ariza's game is more about athleticism and hustling. I think low post play is more valuable than athleticism, because athleticism is easily attainable, low post play isn't.

POR has Miles, Patterson & DA, so forget about them being interested much in Ariza...if it's anyone they'd be interested in, it would be Sweetney, Nazr or KT to shore up their frontcourt & back up Zach.
