It is safe to say that Frédéric Weis is never coming to New York to play for the Knicks. "No, I am too scared to go back," Weis, a center from France, said somberly last week. "People hate me there." Weis spoke by telephone from practice in Bilbao, Spain, where he is averaging 2.8 points and 2.1 rebounds for Lagun Aro in the Spanish league. It is his fourth team in five years since the Knicks chose him with the No. 15 pick of the 1999 draft. Other than two summer-league appearances, Weis has not worn a Knicks uniform. http://allknicks.com

NY don't hate anybody not named Bush or Gulianni. Can I add Layden and Pedro to that list? |
