I thought he was excited because he was moving around with more energy then I have ever seen him.

Still he was simply Allan Houston. Allan only has an impact when he is shooting the ball.

I thought his shot looked beautiful.

I thought his body language looked unsure.

I saw him limp a couple times...was I the only one who was wondering how he would land on the knee after the jump ball??

He clearly favored the leg he has been having problems with, but he has to get over the fear and just play. I think with time he will be back to 100% Allan. He has the best lloking shot on the Knicks, much more consistent then Crawford. The Defense couldnt leave him alone. I know he is a one dimensional player but that single dimension is extremly dangerous and once the team gets used to having him back, and he is healthy and in game shape - I think we will see some great things.

Instead of benching crawford or leaving houston on the bench the knicks should start houston at sf once he's ready. He will have a huge impact on the starting lineup. He will especially help kurt and steph . TT right now is a bench player at best with the way he disappears in games. If it doesn't work because Jamal is putting up too many shots...bench Jamal because he will be better suited as instant offense off the bench. Don't get me wrong, if it wasn't for Crawford we'd be a terrible team. We'd be as bad as we were in the Nets series last season when Steph had no one to pass to.

Allan was good and was effective in spreading the spacing on the floor. His shot was there and I got tingly inside me when he made that 3 pt shot. Unfortunately all that went for naught and we lost the game. Plus no Allan in the 4th qtr. Go figure.
Knicks are happening and have a Unicorn.

I think Frank Isola sums it up best:

maybe is he renogiated his contract and gave some of that ridiculous money back then maybe the knicks fans would cheer him. I won't boo him but I also wouldn't cheer a guy making 100mil who we don't even know can last 10 games

I heard Dolan was the one who wanted to overpay for H20. Of course dolan and layden deserve all the blame but it really irrates fans who want the Knicks to be a championship quality team not a mediocre first or second round exit in the playoffs team because they can't go after top free agents.

Why didn't Lenny tell Houston to sit in the corner and wait for the ball to come to him in rotation.

He just got back and didn't need to run around fighting to get his shot off (that will come later).

Lenny didn't have a clue on what Houston should have done in this game.

His spot up J is sooooo much better than trying to go one on one IMHO.

They were running him off more screens than I've seen them do with him for several seasons now. A couple times he wasnt sure of whether to pass or shoot. His decisivenes is missing, but his shot is certainly there. He looked good.

Vdesai, my point exactly.

He would have opened up the court even more if he would have set up behind the 3pt line and knocked down a couple because his shot was on.

I noticed it too..we'll his legs were always skinny but his upper body is skinner. Not as much of a difference as with Carter. I thought he looked a lot skinnier which is problably why the dunks aren't the same.

He definitely didn't look like the Allan Houston I remembered. But I didn't see enough of him to realize what the difference was.

I thought he looked fine. He looked rusty at some points, but his shooting touch is there, and I thought his passing was OK, despite 3 TOs. He actually tries on defense too, just as I've been saying all along.
