Unreal... these guys cant box out or get a freakin defensive board. This game pissed me off more than anyone this season.

i can't remember watching a knicks team with this bad a defense, dating back to my first year watching in 1987.

bad non-call on the goaltending but things like that happen.

i wonder why lenny didn't put in h20 at the end, even as a decoy.

it's pretty disgusting really. they do that on every single shot attempt. any rebound they get is pretty much b/c they were standing at the right place at the right time and the ball bounced to them. also, watch how marbury, in tonight's case when arenas hit the wide open three towards the end, didn't even run out or put a hand up on him. no effort. i think in marbury's case, he pretty much plays the entire game and has to concentrate so much on the offensive side that he takes playing defense as an opportunity to rest. nazr and kurt try but it's all b/c of lack of physical ability. but crawford and tim do it b/c i guess that's what they were taught or not taught. hopefully some lenny discipline and benchings will help them. crawford got a pass b/c h20 was out, but not anymore. he will get benched quickly now. marbury will always get a pass so it has to come from within for him.

Its not just them....no one is boxing out.

They are not stopping the ball either. They are just standing and watching.

It's not Lenny's fault because you can see him spazing out on the sidelines when something like this happens. He's telling them to do it. They are just sleep.

This was a win for the Knicks and they blew it. Simple rebounding technique, and defensive consentration mistakes.....

Why is it that other teams seem to be playing harder than the Knicks?

Offensive is the exact word for it. This team is a joke and will not go anywhere unless they realize they can;t do that ish anymore.

The part that pisses me off the most, is hoe the just flap their arms at someone driving the lane. not one of them moeves their feet to get in his path. Unreal. Even high school kids know better.

that is very annoying how our perimeter defenders just flap their arms at the penetrators instead of stepping up and getting a stop

I was thinking the same thing, fish. They couldn't box out for ****. They looked like bowling pins out there. Defensive intensity = naught. Game looked like a wild west shoot out. Haywood was controlling the paint for christ's sake. Enuff said!

Yea I saw that too. Lenny looked all pissed off. This is great, there is no telling what a pissed off Lenny will say to the team in the locker room.

yea, I saw lenny, I also read his lips, he was ticked , and I can't blame him, the knicks althought getting outboarded, still played good enough to win, not making that goaltending call was just inexcuseable...

look, the non call on the goal tend was bad, but if Nazr, Kt or TT box out in the last 2 minutes we win that game but 6.

Lenny needs to dig up some old tapes of John Starks & Charlie Ward throwing their bodies into the paint to draw charges on much bigger guys & teach them how defense is supposed to be played.

hey, i thought the raptor game back on 27 november set the tone for fans to really take off the rose color glasses.....i forgot, knicks won so the victory was sugar coated regardless of knicks fessing up 36 points in the final quarter. knicks lose?.....you may want to call this a learning experience too
