could go 4-1, could go 1-4 but i'm thinking 3-2 with two home wins and one away - most likely denver, phi, and utah.

The road games vs. NJ and Philly mean the most right now.I think it's not unreasonable to think we can take both of those games, along with one of the home games.
And to make it 5 games like the title says, the 5th game would be at home against Utah.

Detroit is struggling big time right now, we can definitely beat them, especaially at home

wow, I think you'all so far are a bit win heavy.

L - Denver is a tough matchup for the Knicks, both KMart and Mellow will give their counterparts a fit.

L - NJ always give NY fits for whatever reason. Even in the preseason without Kidd, the Knicks lost. I call this game a 50/50 game and give it to NJ cause it is on the road.

L - Detroit. These guys beat you with defense and rebounding and half court game, all things that the Knicks are not so good at.

W - Philly. If Dalembert is not playing the minutes, the Knicks will take it. The team matches up well against Philly.

L - Arroyo is back and this is bad for the Knicks. This team is well coached. As it is played in NY, I think it will be a close one.

Utah is 9-11 in the West which means they are a much better team than our 9-10 Knicks of the East.

yeah Martin...the Nets always play great against the knicks but thats because kidd plays out of his mind. Right now he's not 100% so I think we'll be them plus they don't have Kmart to dunk all over kurt thomas this time around and they barely beat the frickin Hornets last night! it went into overtime.

I think we *should* win all 5. Easy to say now with the first 2 won, but we catch Det at home (where we are considerably better) we ALWAYs play well in Phili and the guy that ruins us every time for the JAzz is AK47, plus we get them at home also.

I think individually each of those five games is one we should win, but I don't know if the Knicks are at a level where they can play consistently and well enough for five consecutive games. I'll be very impressed if they do win all five. I won't be disappointed if they go 4-1, though.

The Knicks cannot beat Detroit, especially the way our back court plays defense. They would have to play a tight game all through out and cannot afford any droughts.

The Bobcats also beat the Knicks so them beating Detroit doesnt neccesarily mean anything.

"especially the way our backcourt plays defense". Maybe if they play defense, play tight, avoid droughts and mistakes then "any given night" will be tonite. Thats what my post said if u cared to read.

martin, are'nt we being alittle negative? carmelo sprained his foot pretty bad tonight. bad enough to be carried off the court, and we beat them last time w/him. also i know nj gives us headaches, but they did lose zo, and the williams's. who's there center now? if we lose that game we got problems.
