At this point of the season, we all already know how good this team will be. We are a poor defensive team, and most of all a poor jump shooting team. We have 3 positions that have been very inconsistent and we need to fix them as soon as possible. In this league, the SG has to be at least 6'6", and most of all has to possess an all around game. The SG can't be just a jump shooter. He has to be able to defend, rebound, penetrate, and pass the ball efficiently. Crawf was brought in to do just that, but in my opinion, Isiah should have considered dealing for Larry Hughes instead. He is a known defender and can do a lot more than what Crawf can, but the deal is already done, let's move on.

PF, that position is weak with Kurt playing heavy minutes. Yes, he at times can be productive, but the fact that he doesn't a postup game, and the fact that he can't guard any PFs in this league will continue to hurt our squad until we can get rid of him. the game versus Charlotte proved that to be a fact.

SF, TT, wow, I can't believe that I am saying this, we have to definitely reconsider him as our option. He has been doing a little better, but I am very disappointed of him.

so, what do we really need?

Carter would be a great addition. He is not a defender, but there are other things that he is great at. He is a consistent scorer and could open the court for Marb and other talents. N.Y. could make a man out of him. Whether or not Lenny is the right man to coach him will be up to Isiah to decide. Rose can also be a good asset. I wouldn't want for him to stay with our team. I want a defender or a sharp shooter to complement Marb and Vince if this deal goes through, especially if Houston is traded. However, with Carter we definitely won't have a need for Houston.

As for big man, Curry, Chandler, Nene, should be considered. Isiah is doing his best.

Bottom line is this, the roster we have right now is not going to go far, especially with our lack of defensive minded players in the starting lineup.

F it, here is the freaking trade that I want to see happening: Houston and Penny to Toronto for Carter and Rose, second trade: Kurt Thomas to the Bulls or Dallas for Booth or Chandler. If Curry is the one they want to give up, so be it.

My lineup:

Marb
Vince
TT
Nazr
Chandler/Booth/ or Curry

Brewer or Crawf
Crawf or Ariza
Ariza or Rose
JYD
Vinny

Can't wait for December 15. As long as Marb, Ariza, Crawff, Nazr are still around, I will be happy.
