someone on the realgm boards used some software to write a pretty thorough, somewhat genuine-looking article using the NYT template. It reported that NY and San Antonio had agreed to trade Camby/Spree for Duncan, among others. Kind of funny, but an obvious hoax--the guy came back on the board a couple times, very anxious to point out that it was a joke (maybe he heard from the Times). Cruel joke, too.

I guess Vecsey has rubbed too many people the wronng way and has trouble getting any juicy information. It seems he can't accept not being in the thick of things like he used too and is grasping wild rumors like they are about to come true (malone rumor per example).

Let's not foget he seems to create rumors from the top of his head as well, didn't he say he might coach the Knicks or something along those lines? He should retire and call it the end of his career.
