A "very exciting" trade could be near for the New York Knicks, who again blew a big lead but avoided falling into last place in the Atlantic Division.

With coach Don Chaney sounding optimistic that a deal might come off, the Knicks got solid contributions from everyone who played as they beat the undermanned Toronto Raptors 89-82 Wednesday night.

This could be good...or at least it would be more interesting when watching the games.
