I recall wanting the Knicks to have signed Lonzo Ball a few years ago. Thank God that didn't happen. So many trade scenarios offered by fans and free agent moves we have all cooked up. Some would have worked but which ones you once wanted that your glad didn't come to fruition ?

its fun to look back and think it thru. So many times we lambast FO on picks and trades but often we don't see how many "Mistakes" other teams make. Even championship teams do it. GSW winning titles and awful drafting in hindsight after Steph Curry and Draymond Green. But some darn good trades and a few titles ot still show for it!
While there are so many variables to boggle the mind its why I put a post out "Fixing Toppin". In time a team fills its needs in other ways. We killed it in Free agency with Jules, Brunson and DDV. Well, lets just say if we win a chip or have a nice run to the finals?
It would be really fun to see what FO take was on certain players we passed on.
We for sure have not been on the "list of top 10 worst NBA contracts" in quite few years. While Melo kind of fell out his last year or so with us, he did hold up thru most of it. Maybe Amare deal in the last two years was "god awful".
KAT presents our biggest risk given the figure but it has only two years on it. Two more years guaranteed then a player option at age 32 for 61mm. I'd kind of think he takes it unless he opts out to extend. Another story for another day.
