I think Chris has made it known that he prefers to stay out west. But, I agree. He would be a good addition.

Reportedly he's stressing that he wants to start on a team. Not happening here.

Yuck on Paul - assume he ends up on West Coast. Dame expect him in GS or Portland or Miami.

Miami and L.A. -- guys just can't stop throwing themselves at those 2 destinations.

If we were to move Josh Hart -- Gary Payton jr would be interesting do it all energy guy who could play Hart like role - handling, passing, defending and energy. Not sure GP Jr fit's as a mediocre shooter if Josh is still on roster.

If we go bigger wings Clippers A Coffey or Magics C Houston could be 2 decent options for the minimum.

And there is also R. Westbrook --- but he's rumored to want to stay close to (you guessed it) L.A.

Adding - even if Hart stays --- Gary Payton Jr could be a good add.

He is super high energy - knows how to fit in with talented players and defends/passes/slashes -- like him a lot despite poor shooting.

We patched things up with Klutch sports. They even let Clarkson sign with us.

Looking at Payton and his best year may have been 21/22 with Warriors - also Mike Brown's last year as Assoc. Head Coach with Warriors

It’s probably not going to be a player expecting rotation minutes. It’s funny because of all the options out there, I still think 3 of the best are Shamet, Wright and Alec Burks.

Makes the most sense. He has proved that he is comfortable in the NYC lights.

Bradley Beal could be bought out. He needs to give up 13mil from what I read.
Steien indicates there will be interest. Can't say he his looking for "his money" as many say when they have contracts, or restore his career.

He does not nor should be expected to play more than 50-60 games. Since he is 25 he played right at 60 games once, all else below. When he plays it's been starter minutes. Obviously Im thinking off the bench role at 15-20. Lower the bar, lower the minutes and keep him fresh for playoffs.
I don't have his medical chart and can't comment on his condition. Im thinking year to year and low salary. Lower the bar and the expectations. Maybe he is an asset for some team.
Is this where Miami gets him and restores him? Does he stay on the sidelines and sign somewhere mid season for a late push where he can get minutes on a contender?

Beal doesn't make sense for us now that we have Clarkson. We have a bench bucketgetter. We should let McCullar have that last spot if we can't find someone with a unique skillset that we currently lack on the wing/bench(defense, ballhandling, shooting).

Just curious, what are you basing all this McCullar love on? lets see what he can do in the SL before we declare him an NBA player.

McCullar was a 4 year college player / all big 12 guy who played at Kansas and was someone I followed closely his senior year as he was projected as back half first rounder and was in the territory of someone we might draft at a position of need (defense oriented wing). Had him pegged as a Grimes/Hart type and someone who because of his experience might be able to play right away and gave him a high floor. Athletically pretty average and not a pure shooter so was not a lottery player despite his overall skillset which was pretty advanced in most other respects. The injury kept him out of the postseason and pushed him down the draft- he almost missed the whole year so it was a valid concern. I think it may be a degenerative issue - he was out on an off from January in his senior year all through most of last season. To me with him its gonna be about health and not whether he has an NBA game. I don't think he really benefits from being in G-League if healthy, because he's already played a bunch of seasons at the highest college level and is really more of a team/rotation guy, vs. a guy who might stand out being the focus of a G-League team (vs. someone like Kolek, who gets the benefit of running a team, or Dadiet, who get's to work as a primary option scorer).

Agree Beal makes zero sense.
