Please do not the season end going 0-3 at home in this series and 3-6 overall in the playoffs and allow Haliburton and Reggie Miller to mock and celebrate in MSG. It would be one of the worst endings to a season in history and really leave a bad taste in what has been an unforgettable season and run.

I think and believe we find a way to win tonight. WE HAVE TO!

I do believe we win tonight....I shudder to think about the consequences of losing here.

We need serious focus on execution.

One...game...at a time. Tonight is ALL that matters.

We're already in the gravy, since none of us anticipated beating Boston. This ain't over yet!

Don't have a good feeling with this one - which is typically a good thing with these turkey's

Good luck everyone - we'll need some and who knows what might happen if we can force a game 6

Facing reality here....the Knicks have had two really good runs / stretches of play the whole series. Game 1, late 3rd/early 4th - Brunson off the floor. Game 3, 4th quarter - Brunson off. This article does a good job detailing how the Pacers are attacking us.

Brunson, per GeniusIQ tracking, was the defender on 25 screens in New York's Game 4 loss when Haliburton was the ball handler -- the most on-ball screens defended by a player against Haliburton in a playoff game in his career.

same... the problem has been the Pacers on both sides of the ball. They have just been terrific. I think the one game we won is the only one they did not shoot the lights out. They cruised past the Bucks/Cavs and we are seeing why.

I STILL love the squad and direction of the team. We all thought it was early and with our lack of depth would not make it past Boston. Obviously losing to the Pacers 2nd year is utterly disgusting but if that's the hump we need to overcome fine. Pacers ran it back after adding Siakam. I think we are in a great spot. Just solidify the bench. Continuity will improve the offense.

I expect a huge effort from us tonight, but that really hasnt been the problem. Fingers crossed. God I would at least love to win a couple here. Force a 7... But winning game 5 is shaky

Funny, I talked with my dad who coached College Basketball for years.
Agreed with me that we are obviously better with JB on the court specially if he has a mindset to keep the ball moving and make quick decisions. Ie. Don”t hold the ball and keep pace high.
Gives defense less time to set up and double team him.
I would also start Deuce over Bridges and have him bring the ball up to take some pressure off JB.
Have Bridges, Shamet, MR, and Payne or Wright off the bench. We have to match their 10-11 man rotation.

Get it done Thibs.

They believed in their team...didn't sell on Turner and now have an apron decision to make on him in FA. But they were right to keep the continuity as they have executed flawlessly since the 2nd half of the year when Turner, Nesmith, Nembhard all got healthy. They were something like 34-14 from Jan 1 and are 11-3 in the playoffs right now. Playing like .725 ball for the last 5 months.

This is their window though...to keep Turner in the offseason and avoid the tax they are gonna have to dump Obi's money. If they don't they will end up in a tough place when Nesmith comes due the year after. Turner with his unique skill set for the modern NBA probably will command over $30mm annually. So they are going for it and sense this is their time too.

that's us NEXT year when Mitch/Bridges are in their walk years.

They seem to have played it right. As a group they are playing fantastic.

It'll be very interesting to see what the Knicks do with both players this summer. Move them, keep them, extend them. If I had to guess, move Mitch and extend Mikal.

KAT’s knee(s) haven’t been right for a while. Not surprised he’s questionable after the way the last game ended.

I predict triple doubles for Precious the next three games.

Going to say again Kat has been pretty damn good.

By all accounts Siakim has been called great but Kat is actually putting up highly effeicient #s and averaging +3 boards more than Siakim/Turner combined.

Yes - his D is a dud but rebounding is also last line of defense.

Kat 52/46/84% --- 26 PPG & 12 RBS

vs.

Turner 54/24/70% --- 16 PPG & 4 RBS
Siakim 54/50/71% --- 26 PPG & 5 RBS

I think Mikal has already agreed to sign at a discount and that was a big reason we made the trade. Now who knows if that changes with him being a target of Knicks fans now.

How do you get that vibe and what is the discount price? I've always had the feel that Mikal was a Brunson ask.

I just can't see Mikal taking $30M and that would be discount range? He makes $25 next year. OG contract starts at ~$37M.

this makes sense, especially the Deuce part

We just need to clean up the turnovers and fight like hell. Games have been remarkably close so a turnover here or there, a missed layup, all that **** can be critical

Please as fans let's nut up and root like hell. it's tough to tell the players to nut up, and then in the next breath already plan their trades etc.
