Ok, you guys knew this was coming. I have been on this box out thing for the whole season. Neither KAT nor Hart boxout.Yes , they have great rebounding stats, but they are opportunistic and we cannot consistently get defensive rebounds as a team because of it. It's been a problem all season. Hart has publicly said that he doesn't box out and instead prefers to try to get his....I personally ain't got no time for that. Mitch boxes out, play him! Shamet boxes out, play him! TJ boxes out, I don't care, play him! Trade for someone who shoots the 3 and boxes out and play him ....

In fairness to Hart, he said that his rebounding success was from his ability to track the ball off the rim. It works very well for him, being a lot shorter than the players he is fighting for a rebound.

I do agree that boxing out is a lost art as Clyde often remarks. Robin Lopez might be the best big at boxing out we’ve had over the last decade or so.

Wait a second.. this boxing out thing seems to be meaningful!

OG is the 4 now and is very different from Jules.

OG is the 4 now and is very different from Jules.

Ironically, Randles skillset is perfect for this team. I never had a problem with his skills. I had a problem with his sulking, his complaining to the refs, and his meltdowns in the playoffs which are all mental. As far as skills my only problem was that he operates in the same space as Brunson does and that could be solved with better coaching.
