If he's aggressive and involved he's fine and if he's guarding smaller players where he can use his length - he's much better.

Interesting Thibs never had him guard Cade last night --- I assume they are saving that match-up (with OG) for playoffs.

Too often Mikal is deferring and yes VERY SOFT.

Solution? Need another threat, need him to be a threat to pass off if that PnR. Then those 7 footers will have to cover the pick man. This will give Brunson more room to drive. It will also up the points per PnR as KAT is amazing at finishing off of drives, especially when the d is scrambling to contain the PnR

Pretty amazing that we inserted a taller vet PG who plays defense (Wright) and our offense didn't fall off without Brunson and our defense was much improved. Brunson is great, but he needs to do a better job of deferring when they other team locks him down with only one defender
