These are the leagues that so called (armchair GM'S)are showing what they know. Where's Fishmike TKF and Biggs we had 3 20 team leagues and you guys didn't get in????

fantasy sports do nothing for me. And since techmo bowl became outdated neither do video games... but thats just me.

Strength of schedule and the fact that there are 20 teams in gony's league makes it hard gauge how good everyone is... The best way I thought of is to go team by team clicking season ranks, and tallying the # of top 100 players per team...

I'll post that later (at work now =P)

My fantasy team got off to a slow start, but slowly they are picking it up.

Keep it up, Nazr! He's my starting C...

Mac by tallying that way you could have all the big names on your roster but lack the balanced scoring from your latter rd pick.


The bottom line is W-L I will post this top 5 in all 3 leagues every monday from now on.

Core , when is the last time you made a move with your team?? I was hoping you were there for the draft then you might have picked a better roster than the one you have now.

You're right... That's why I think averages of season ranks is better.

Here's my prob with w/l ... there are only 23 weeks or so in a season... which means you'll only play (with 20 team leagues) the same opponent once (exception of your first three opponents, and that's only at the end of the season...). You can see how an average team can take advantage of the lesser teams. So, yes its a good depiction of team strength, but only near the end of the season.

W/ player season rankings averages, you get a better depiction of team strength, early on, without the waiting...

I feel you on the video game stuff, but how can you as an NBA fan not get into picking your own squad in a live draft and make moves all yr long. It actually makes you watch other nba games with more excitment.

O OK I understand what you you are saying. But in the end my friend the highest seeds get the easiest teams in the playoffs.

I've never entered a fantasy league. It doesn't look interesting to me. It's a team game; not a game based on one individual players' stats. As for video games, I don't play them simply because I don't I'd get any work done if I did play them.

Bonn, you're right it is a team game and what you as a armchair GM do is find a team of individuals to make up a team with catergories from assist, TO, BLKS REBS, ORB, 3PT, FGM FTM FG% FT% ETC. Now the kicker is you have to do your homework in assembeling a team thru a live draft with the strategy of being successful in the catergories your league has set up which accumalates W-L.

only gambling makes me more interested in other teams :)

NBATV broadcasts a hi-def game everynight with comcast, so I get to catch a game everynight. Last night was Bos/Orl. Seen some good ones... sports in hidef is like going from black and white to color. Its like eye candy. Yiu have to believe it to see it
