In the blame game Cube has to take the lions share given he like many owners are very involved in many personal aspects and of course the money. I often cite owners sign the checks and often have final say if not a strong opinion on things. Nico Harrison im sure has some culpability here but Mav's acted weird and as if they wanted to trade Brunson.
Rose putting the last year of the contract as a team option year was a great move as it freed JB to move without Dallas getting a match they could meet.

In the end it seems as if JB was Genuine about resigning but at some point Knicks perhaps floated a number and that moved them on. Once Knicks signed Rick it was about over for Dallas.

Cube seems to be posturing for a White House run. He chimes in matters with reasonable response. If he came in as a right of center type democrat (right leaning fiscally) he could gain many trump voters. He is brash but he is self made and legit. Trump is far more Nepo than most realize.

Back to hoops, JB is All Star and perhaps to be crowned all NBA. Such a great move for knicks!!!
