Think having JB out for a bit is a good thing.
Roster gets a shot to step up and do more on their own.
We get a chance to see if what we have is a chip type supporting cast.
We get a chance to see if $52M gets you a player who can lead us over average teams.
If our 5 pick swap plays like he is part of a Big Three.

So far,
OG is doing what frustrated many Raptor fans. And now me. Really thought he was the X Factor.
Problem is, he has shown the same inconsistencies shown in Toronto for years.

Josh is a hell of a player. Does all the little things that many ignore.
However, as I have said, to win a chip we need more at PF.

KAT had an All Star first half. Hell of an offensive player. Seems to be a team guy.
However still have the view that you can’t dedicate $50-$60M of cap space to a center who lacks the ability to be a TRUE difference maker. And lacks defensive impact.

Bridges is a hell of a defender and can get hot at times. But still feel we could have added a better piece than a high end role player. Do not see Knicks paying a lot for him.

With that said, they still need more time to see if they can be part of a chip team.
Although I have been negative about KAT, Bridges and Josh as PF. Feel no big moves should be made. Yet. Thinking some smaller moves will be the path.
Since I Think talks of Greek are long shots put in the media to help inflate his salary.
And thoughts of KD are three years too late.

Eyeing guys like Bagley III, Levert, Tre and Trey Jones, Kennard, Brook Lopez, Horton Tucker, Trent Jr are some. Several that may take a lower salary .
Does anyone see any smaller moves that can help?
We see how a few changes have helped Detroit , Houston and the Cavs .

Why are you focusing on Josh at PF? Isn't OG our starting PF? Speaking of which, is OG allergic to rebounding?

Focusing on areas I feel we need to improve. Josh one of 4.
Josh took over Randles spot from last year. Which was PF.

Agree with you as OG has all the attributes to be a good rebounder. But to my point Josh being more of the PF gives OG, as a wing, a chance to run the floor on rebounds.

If OG is defending wings he is not in position to grab rebounds. Josh does but he is super crazy good at it. Perhaps its who is assigned tasks.
OG is the listed PF and one would assume he could if need be rebound.

As for his offense? Its frustrating when he is asked to create. He excels when the game sort of comes to him.
When we lose to **** teams that are now healthy and are not ****, its frustrating.
Knicks are going thru a mid season Malaise of sorts.
Other teams do this.
We are not or expected to truly compete except with we have winnng streaks and the hype gets bloated. Then media feeds our souls with goodness and we start to believe it.
