Knicks shoud win this one. It will either be:

A. A blowout
B. Knicks squander huge lead and lose
C. Knicks come from behind the win
D. Knicks take lead the whole game and capitalize in the end.

So the Knicks have a 25 percent chance of winning, but since the Hawks are a so-so team, their possibility of winning against the Hawks are much higher....Seriously.... 50/50. Any team can win on any night no matter how bad.

Knicks should win this won. Heck, if they win 90% of the games they're supposed to... and get lucky and win 30% of the games they're not supposed to win, I'd be happy

Knicks win 102-91, Crawford, Steph and Nazr with big games. GO KNICKS!!!

Nazr has been huge in the last seven days averaging 20 points. I think we should keep him and KT until a great trade arises. But they are playing amazing right now. KT is the type of veteran player this team needs, with a consistant jumper from 15 feet away. He's not huge, but he is an underdog type player. At TCU he averaged 30 PPG I believe. He will have a lot of value at the trading deadline, believe me....

This is our chance to go over .500. We should be taking this one.

There you all go again. This team is not good enough to even fathom that we can beat a bad team. I am sure that Isiah, Lenny and all of our leaders will stress that come game time tonight.

a loss tonight would be dissapointing especially with two tough home games coming up. it would definitely be a step backwards.

go in the game with an open mind. Stop thinking about winning or losing. Good things will happen, our boys just have to stay on the attack mode all night. Marburry is starting to realize that he has to dish at least 11 apg for the team to be successful. Look for him to go in and do his things. Nazr will try to show Atlanta once again that they made a mistake by trading him, and TT will also have a decent game again. If Crawf scores 22, Marb 18, TT 17, Nazr 15, Kurt 15/10, we will be just fine at the end of the game. Our boys will have to make an effort to get to the foul lines tonight.

you kidding me? Its all about results.. winning and losing is all that counts. If you want to be a good team, not even a great team, just a good team you have to beat the teams your expected to beat. I'm sorry, but the Knicks and their 100mm payroll simply have to win games like this. The way the Knicks are going to have a decent year is to play .750 ball against the Bobcats, Hawks, Nets, GS, Chi, Mil abd NO. In those 24-22 games Knicks need to go something like 18-6, because they are lucky to play .500 against the rest of the league.

Nazy should look to dominate this game and every game we play against the hawks.

Comeon Fish! you know that I am about winning. However, for some of our fans to come on this board and proclaim that our team will win a game that has yet to be played is insane. the other team is paid to play also. Especially when the team has two super-stars like Harrington and Walker. What I wanted to convey in my previous thread is that we need to take each game seriously. We shouldn't be too overconfident just because it is Atlanta. We have to approach each game and look at it as a qualified playoff game, we have to play each game with an urgency. That is what I meant.

It has nothing to do with payroll in my mind, but I agree with everything else you said. (I couldn't care less about the payroll since we're not trying to get under the cap.)

Look, I understand what your saying and the ultimate example is the expansion Raptors beating the 72 win Bulls. But the reason that Bulls team won so many games is they were commited to winning every night. It didnt matter how bad or good the team they were playing was, they played their best every single night. The Knicks dont have that attitude. I think they see the Hawks and think they are better, but if they dont work hard on D or attack the glass or push the ball the WILL lose, and there's no excuse for that when you should beat this team by 20

I don't know about Harrington and Walker being superstars (that's all subject anyway), but I agree with taking every team seriously (which I don't see NY doing this game). But Atlanta has been playing god-awful all season ...

if they lose to the hawks tonight, then there is no difference between this team and the chaney/layden teams of the past 3 years. no over confidence here. atlanta stinks, plain and simple. we're a better team, plain and simple. there is no excuse for a loss tonight.

Let's just not expect too much from this team as fans, because the minute that we do, we get slap in the face. Approach every game as if we will just do an ok job, and the result will not be too shocking if we win or lose. That is my approach from now on.

we are in the middle of an important 11 game stretch. After that Was game we are home again. I see this as a critical stretch of games that can very well set the tone for this season. So far we are 3-1. Knicks should win 5 of the next 7. Plain and simple. That puts us at 11-8 and on a good roll.

If the Knicks manage to lose this game, it'd be a hell of an accomplishment!
