when I was young, it was hard to respect our opponents like Jordan. But as I have aged, I appreciate what they have done and are doing as athletes.

But I would never cheer for an opponent, ever. I might ooh or uh at something, but never clap, until maybe the end.

This is also a weird way to kickoff the west coast trip that will end in Golden State, a week from this Saturday.

They have been playing much better with Jimmy, just blew out the Hornets yesterday. So their 2nd of a back to back.

A trap game if ever there was one. Slow start? We'll get behind and have to fight back.

Would it be too much as fans to hope for a blow out? A relaxing W like the fans in Cleveland, Boston, OKC get to enjoy on a regular basis?

Jimmy Butler on the Warriors is still Jimmy Butler. The Warriors have gone from ambivalence to full on hate. I don't care how "swell" a guy Curry is. It can't overcome the curse of having Dray and Butler on the same team.

Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick

you funny. Trap game? You legit expect the Knicks to win every night than lament Thibs etc for just winning or trash them if they lose. What happened when Boston played Cle? Was that relaxing for them?

Knicks on pace for a win total they last saw in 1996 and our fan base cant enjoy. Like there's another team trying to beat them. The more tough games they play the better.

btw GS is 8-2 in their last 10... this is a hot team coming off an easy win to play in the garden. I predict Thibs rides the starters to win but it's a moral loss for too many

I wouldn’t say trap game, cause the warriors are for real since jimmy came on board.

But would love the keep the streak going.

F Jimmy lol. I’m not going that far. But hope we beat the breaks off them, just like every team we play.

What’s up with the slow starts?

I do not expect them to win every game, please see my picks! Golden State is a renewed team with Butler, so it won't be easy. But the fact is, they are on the back of a back to back, and a west coast team as well. It sometimes seems like the only team that struggles with back to backs is us!

The slow starts are worrisome. Personally, I wish Thibs would switch up the starting line up - get McBride in for Hart, or Payne alongside Brunson.

It seems like Hart has to wait for the insurmountable challenge before he sparks to life!

Yeah this isn't a trap game...Warriors have a winning record and are currently playing well post deadline/all star break with one of the all time NBA legends on their roster. Its a big game and a lot of butts will be in the seats and ticket prices are high. Can't compare this to a dying Philly team or one of the bottom feeders coming in. It will be a tough game, but in general the Knicks have been up for these (unless it was top 3....but they did open up one of those OKC games on a heater).

I'm with you on starting Deuce. I'm also agreeing with starting Hart, since he's the ultimate glue guy and the only truly unselfish starter. Everybody else, including Deuce are looking for their shot. But the down side of Hart is in half court. Deuce on the other hand may not give you the playmaking Hart provides, but he gives you everything else, including half court offense. JB, Deuce, Mikal, OG, Towns

There's nobody in this starting 5 you can leave open.

Will Thibs make this change? We all know that answer. But man, these slow starts are terrible and seems to be a consistent theme lately (win or lose).

Seems like if Mikal or Towns has is going early, we start off great. If they are struggling, we struggle. Lets see if this is true today. But man these slow starts are brutal. Maybe it build resilience for the players, and it's just stressful for the fans? Then I'm ok with that. Cause in the playoffs, we will need these comeback efforts.
