As much as Clyde is in the Knicks Pantheon, I hate to say, I don't even think he'd be an above average player in today's game.
You watch tapes of him and he's in slow motion with no lift. He'd have his shot blocked all over the place.

I don’t recall seeing Pigorni dunk or Jeremy Lin during the Linsanity phase, but those are not the answer. As for Clyde I think it was more accepted for guards not dunking during his day.

one can say that about any generation to another. But then look at Brunson? He can dunk, but not in traffic or on a fast break. His game is about finesse and fundamentals.
Clyde had the wingspan and his defensive chops were as good as any. The long arms help get that shot up.
