Pistons have a winning record! Ivey was playing really before he got hurt, but even with that they have won 9/11 games. They will be game.

This is game 41. We are 26-14. On pace for between 52-54 wins.

Even if the competition is stiff and we play .500 ball after this we're gonna end up with between 46-50 wins and thats still probably gonna be 3rd or 4th seed based on how the standings look right now and likely run rates for how the teams behind us will play.

Obviously what all of us want to see is a title, but getting past round 2 alone would be huge given we've gotten bounced there the last cpl years when we were the higher seeded team. Lots of different reasons for that, but we should be aiming for ECF.

Ausar Thomspon will probably start on Brunson - a lengthy athletic guy. His twin brother did a pretty good job. Its a tough matchup.

But on the contrary Jalen Duren can't guard KAT and neither can Tobias Harris.

Malik Beasley is a historical Knick killer and shooting well this seasons.

We should beat them based on paper talent, but 2nd game of a back to back and they managed to create matchup issues the last time we played.

I forgot KAT didn't play the first time. We've now learned how bad we can look offensively without KAT - that Orlando game was telling.

I wouldnt push Brunson, but hopefully he plays as it will say something about the severity of his injury.

I wonder if Thibs goes Mikal on Cade or OG on Cade.

Watch out for MUDDAFUGGAS - Beasley and THJ.

This may be one our best tests of the season in terms of where we are at mentally --- can we put Detroit away on back-back.

Will we try to do it with Jalen/Kat or will we get everyone involved --- I'll assume Jalen starts and comes out chucking.

I'm sure if we start Sims from now on that trajectory will change.

But he has to keep his hands to himself. Don’t we have Mark Bryant to help with post moves. KAT needs a lot of help. He has the swim move that he gets called for, and then he is constantly fending off the defenders grabbing him by grabbing them back.
