I may have this wrong but it looks like Bluesky took a curious route on how they work and it makes it very hard for forums and whatnot to automatically transform a URL like twitter or YouTube to something that is useful.
For the nerds:
https://bsky.app/profile/bsky.app/post/3l6oveex3ii2l is a normal bluesky link, where the user who posted the link is "bsky.app". Twitter equivalent: https://x.com/NBA_NewYork/status/1866834318791717087, the user profile name here is "NBA_NewYork".
Bluesky requires an additional lookup to transform the profile name (bsky.app in first example and NBA_NewYork in second) to some other unique identifier. That is stupid but I'm guessing it's because you can change your profile handle on Bluesky whereas once you pick it on Twitter/X, you can't change.
So. Stupid. And it's why you don't see BlueSky widely embedded on RealGM and other places and whatnot.
I'll keep an eye out unless some other nerd has better info than me.
