Wow, I did not anticipate this season would look like this.

We should be 12 & 0, not Cleveland.

Things could be worse- we could be 2 and 7 like Philly.

Right now, Brooklyn is ahead of us in the standings. I just looked at their box score from last night, and the only name I even recognize is Simmons. Yet they play 9 guys and got production up and down the line.

This is a must win. It’s the first game of the in season tournament.

This might be the only thing (NBA Cup) that this Knick squad wins.

Embid is back, but Maxey is out.

I want our January Knicks back

Even if Precious was playing we'd not be ripping thru the league.
Team needs time to gel.
January knicks are gone. It was lovely. This team has a higher ceiling.
Not a must win game.

I will admit if Thibs cannot run the score up with the starters and we lose then might as well play the kids.

KAT vs. Embiid. You have two of the top 5 centers in the league facing each other. Enjoy the battle. If you just watching for the result you're missing a lot.

Look at the East standings. Its not a must win, but its one for the fan's psyche. Of course Embiid comes back to play us. Without Achiuwa and Mitch, he will feast. Maxey was the X-Factor in the playoffs, and he's missing tonight, but it won't matter much if Embiid is eating at our expense.

Embiid is coming out like a bear form hibernation. He will be pissed. Question is will he be effective? Will OG frustrate him and elbow his teeth?

Another away game? Our tenth game and 7 will lave been away!
Not like preseason we played wiz and CLT Twice, we had some tough games.
And two new starters of significance. Is it real that god awful we 4-5? Or we just like all fan bases prone to extrapolate the present into the future?

Granted, Clev is looking pretty darn good. There core is healthy and have been together now a few years. The got to deepen their bench a bit also.
Same with Phoenix. Durant is out and might revert but they goto off to a good start with a more balanced roster this year.
Leon knows what he is doing. Can't say it will execute but he and Thibs understand things.

Kat is better than Randle long term for many reasons. He is better than advertised.
True, Mikal cost a boatload. I know there are many that have been pining for him since he was drafted. Leon overpaid but thats what happens when you want what you want. I know we were looking for a "OG" type bounce of chemistry like he did last January. Perhaps the genius of it all has yet to be apparent.

As many have said, we have a window of 2-3 years. We are 4-5, 9 games in, 73 games left. Lets not forget one of our starters will also miss games. Fans need to be prepared as well. They won't play 82 games each. Its easy to say, but another when it happens.

Go knicks!!!!

I think it's got extra juice cause the IST. That's the must... the overall standings are fine. Cle ran it back and are gelling right out of the gate. Same w/ Bos. Other teams working on stuff. That's us.

Some of you need to stop treating every game like it's Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

Cleveland had a few nice wins but they played the bucks (who are struggling against everyone) twice, detroit, washington, nets, bulls, nola (everyone injured), magic without banchero, the new knicks (without any frontcourt depth). They are a good team but not 12-0 good.

Most of us fans knew it would take time for the team to gel on offense and defense. That's what a team trying to gel looks like.

Yeah, really this is only like game 3 of the finals.

All true but man do they look good out there.

Mobley looks like he finally turned the corner and Garland and Mitchell have finally learned how to play together. Their schedule has been weak but don’t sleep. They are a problem.

Does it look like he’s resigned to being in Cleveland and now he is on a mission to let the Knicks know we picked the wrong player?

After as badly as they played, if they don’t respond, they don’t have heart. If they have no heart, there is no hope for any championship aspirations. And I’ll have to buy NBA league pass so I can watch Warriors late at night.

Can we please have a clean/solid defensive game and ask that Enbid/Lowry don't injure 2 or more of our guys by falling on or kicking them.

It was really the dirty foul when he was lying down and grabbed MR.

But- we can lose, just don’t collapse down the stretch and give up 40 wide open 3pt shots!

Small ask really!

Hoping to see the rotation get expanded to 9 men, win or lose. I wonder if Brunson and Hart can go see the coach and make the case for rest and production. Or maybe an assistant coach. We aren't playing a post season series right now. Playing Toppin, Dadiet, Hukporti might cost some points. But might save the team big time by keeping the starters healthier

Hukporti would be great especially with Embid, but there is 0% we see 9 off the bench unless there is a blowout.
