Maxey was the X-Factor in the playoffs, and he's missing tonight, but it won't matter much if Embiid is eating at our expense.
Embiid is coming out like a bear form hibernation. He will be pissed. Question is will he be effective? Will OG frustrate him and elbow his teeth?
Another away game? Our tenth game and 7 will lave been away!
Not like preseason we played wiz and CLT Twice, we had some tough games.
And two new starters of significance. Is it real that god awful we 4-5? Or we just like all fan bases prone to extrapolate the present into the future?
Granted, Clev is looking pretty darn good. There core is healthy and have been together now a few years. The got to deepen their bench a bit also.
Same with Phoenix. Durant is out and might revert but they goto off to a good start with a more balanced roster this year.
Leon knows what he is doing. Can't say it will execute but he and Thibs understand things.
Kat is better than Randle long term for many reasons. He is better than advertised.
True, Mikal cost a boatload. I know there are many that have been pining for him since he was drafted. Leon overpaid but thats what happens when you want what you want. I know we were looking for a "OG" type bounce of chemistry like he did last January. Perhaps the genius of it all has yet to be apparent.
As many have said, we have a window of 2-3 years. We are 4-5, 9 games in, 73 games left. Lets not forget one of our starters will also miss games. Fans need to be prepared as well. They won't play 82 games each. Its easy to say, but another when it happens.
Go knicks!!!!
Cleveland had a few nice wins but they played the bucks (who are struggling against everyone) twice, detroit, washington, nets, bulls, nola (everyone injured), magic without banchero, the new knicks (without any frontcourt depth). They are a good team but not 12-0 good.
Most of us fans knew it would take time for the team to gel on offense and defense. That's what a team trying to gel looks like.
