Can the Knicks actually put two solid performances together back to back?

Indiana collapsed down the stretch Friday against the Hornets. They were up 13 after 6 minutes in the third, and then total collapse, with the Hornets outscoring them 52 to 19.

Ouch!

This is another trap game for the Knicks- seems like I say that every time. But, for as good as we looked against the Bucks- they brought their own struggles to the game- their struggle for identity, playing the 2nd of a back to back.

And clearly you have to expect the Pacers to bounce back.

With football season now officially over in NY, I can't wait for this game! At least I have all day for chores around the house without any reason for distraction!

I don't think the Pacers can ever be a trap game this season. Plus they want to get over 500 and then they play Philly. Knicks want to get to 6-4. I think they will be motivated, next two games before returning home for four games. Knicks can get to 10-4 before another road trip. Think the starters will be focused. Just hope McBride is able to play this evening.

I hear Deuce is out for this one. Hopefully Kolek gets some minutes, but more than likely Brunson will just play 46 minutes.

easy trap game - knicks feeling good about how easy it was to crush the bucks, they will coming out thinking it will be an easy game to play.

Kolek will play. Knicks bench either shines or the starters fade.
Indy will run us, play to our weakness. this is not a playoff game or a must win. Thibs could very well use the bench and if we sink, we sink.
Pacers have issues but they are a deep well rostered team that can defeat us. Just because they lose to a team under us does not validate a simple win for knicks. this is the NBA, where bad teams have good nights and excel, and good teams have bad nights and don't execute.

WE beat the bucks limiting their two best players and they failed to execute what we gave them. If they do, they win.
What will indy give us? They can throw a lot of fresh defense at Brunson and Kolek. Our guys have to see it early and react. Nobody stops Jalen but if they can contain him and smother the options is one way to beat us. If we get the clean shots do they fall? Do we Execute what is given.
This is hoops 101 and sorry to offend some who understand this basic process. Some doin't give credit to opponents and think knicks can win about every game. If not they were not ready. Were lazy, Were self absorbed with thoughts, etc. Sometimes the other team is better on a given night and sometimes the better team does not play to it.

Payne (hamstring) and Miles McBride (illness) are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Obi Toppin (ankle), Andrew Nembhard (knee) and T.J. McConnell (illness) are questionable for Indiana. Aaron Nesmith (ankle), Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) and James Wiseman (Achilles) are out.

We have zero bench except rookies and Sims. Maybe Toppin gets some time.

I'd say yes, but with a short hook. Not as punishment. Add to the collective effort or not play. Its a pro league.

Both teams depth is compromised.
Halliburtons back is an issue, not his hammy. I suppose its game to game.
