If we start talking about trading again I will have a fit. I only wish that we could see what last years team could do this year but you know the knick we push the cart before the horse. Bridges is a good player but he was on a bad team that is why he looked great. KAT is a great player but not a fit for the Knicks the way it is built now. But time will tell.

Agreed- they’re 2 & 6 after beating the Jazz yesterday. 2 of their losses were to the Cavs by a combined 3 points, and one of those games was without Giannis.

With the way we’ve been playing, this has loss written over it.

But we sometimes play to the level of the competition, so maybe we do well.

We added Bridges for not that much. And he’s been part of winning teams. Brooklyn was just his last stop.

I agree - looking at Randle, he seems to be playing angry and shooting tremendously- I doubt that will last, but he is in a contract year and I appreciated him for what he did. He played hard and had an intensity that I feel is missing from this group. Kat might have been one move too many, but still have faith that it can work out.

I disagree. 5 first round draft picks is an overpay IMO. A lot to give up for Bridges’s career numbers. Thats what you give up for an elite player. top 10.

That Bucks pick is looking like the bees knees through 2 weeks. I'd have a little faith in Bridges. I believe Bridges, OG and KAT will all see improvement here in NY in the same way Brunson did. Patience.

My point on giving up not that much for bridges was in terms of current players and to be fair, we don’t have a lot of room for draft picks on this squad.

Yes- it was a high price to pay- and in a different world, we would not have had to pay it. But I think the FO was thinking- we’ve saved this picks for an occasion like this, and we’re not going to be able to keep them.

I think you are spot on. If anything, I would have kept the Bucks pick. But getting Bridges for Bogs is a coup.

You said bridges looked good on a bad team, but he looked awesome on the Suns.
