It was fun while it lasted.

KAT would have to buy me a Switch to get me to watch Friday’s game.

This off-season was worse than Kemba and EF.

For anyone who’s going to say that I need to give it more than one game… I didn’t even watch two quarters.

How could it be this bad. All the players were healthy- they got plenty of time playing together in pre season. And they come out against the NBA champions and they play with zero energy, like sleepwalking.

Kat is, what I feared when there were discussions about getting him before, a soft player.

And OG? We’re paying him how much and he scored how many points?

And Bridges is going to wish he signed the extension for 2 years because that is the only upside I see.

Two too many moves in the off season. Maybe get bridges and run it back, but I was not chicken little before with the DD & Julius trade, but now after seeing how they got punched in the mouth and responded like they did, which was not at all, I am firmly in this camp.

I’m worried about this transition from power to finesse but I’m certainly not throwing in the towel. It might take weeks for Knicks to gel though. It took Kyrie and Luka like a full season to gel into a contender.

Gotta face facts that this team has a new identity. We had a very clear identity last year and it was a team than NY loved.

Very few teams are capable of the barrage they hit us with yesterday. Unfortunately Indiana is who we play next.

I hated the trade. In losing DD, we lost that fearless dog at shooting guard. McBride played well, but we needed a third scorer and Bridges and KAT were not it last night. It is still early and this team often struggles to begin year’s for some reason but this first game was not promising.

I think having KAT takes away that identity. You lose toughness and you get a guys whose number look great but aren’t terribly effective. He should have thrived tonight with Horford on him.

Would have rather have went with Precious at the 5 and kept the guys we have and run a bench of DDV,
McBride and Hart. Could have had Randle run offense those guys and still had another pick to trade.

We didn’t quit last year on games and we were done in the 1st quarter tonight. That is alarming.

That identity is never more. We’ll see how it shakes out. Boston had that identity once and traded it away for more 3s and finesse as well and now they are dominant. I think the FO felt that power teams aren’t gonna win titles in this 3 point league. You need to be a 3 point team so we needed to spread 5 out.

Lol, I love this fan base. Wouldn't recognize it without panic and extreme reactions. But when Reggie ****ing Miller is the voice of reason here, we may be going a little too far.

We had the defending champs, in their building, hyped up on a ring ceremony and spitting fire. We have a largely new roster working on finding chemistry (and will probably take a bit to do so). We take our lumps and move on.

Yes, I loved last year's team too and honestly wish we kept it intact. But that squad gets blown out last night too, without question. Last night was not good, but not a fair indicator of this team's potential.

2.5 days for an angry coaching staff to review tape with this team. I look forward to making Indy feel like we felt last night.

We lost by 23 last night. We took some hard losses last year as well against Milwaukee, Clippers, Nola, Indiana. It's just one game.

People who run away/hide/quit at the first sign of trouble generally talks to their character. Boston returned 13 guys from a championship roster. The Knicks have a bunch of new players who will need time to play together and gel. This showed especially in the defensive rotations - or lack thereof. I'm certainly not giving up as a fan.

Was an alarming effort and reason for concern.

We looked scared and timid. This team isn’t scared usually.

Deuce came out like the other guys should. If I’m KAT I’m not letting the game come to me I’m punishing Horford and the Celtics front line.

The just need to bring their **** Friday night.
