I saw all I needed to see with Hukporti in SL. He’s raw but experienced. Give him a roster spot. Big, active and plays with force.

Sims looks like a really nice kid but he needs to start practicing saying ‘would you like paper or plastic’. I’m so freaking upset we guaranteed his contract and we’re going to have to let TJ Warren go instead because of cap space. This kid hasn’t improved even a little bit since he’s been here. Not an NBA player

Hukporti looks like a basketball player not just an athlete. Honestly it's almost like Mitch vs iHart on a much lower level. Jericho is Mitch without the physical dominance. Huk is a watered down, black version of iHart.

Sims will get the nod as back up until a trade occurs, Mitch returns, or Huk out performs. If and when that happens is gonna take time.
I have not been a huge fan of Sims and really still surprised he is still here but coaches by his return kind of confirm they see something in him besides the hops.
This is my choice for the here and now. The future? Sims is a free agent his summer. I doubt he sticks. He gets a few months more to prove himself.

Since fans tend to over react as per the title of this thread, I cast the first vote for Sims and smoke a bone in his honor!!!!!

Just so we are clear, this thread is to determine which 58th pick overall will make a better rotation piece on our team?

The fact that our FO found value at 58th pick in two separate drafts is respectable by itself.

Huk. It's super early, but he doesn't look completely lost out there. I can accept him as my third stringer. Sims never seems to know where he's supposed to be, he can just jump.

Also we already have a Bodega KAT. You can't call your fourth string center Lion and your starting center KAT. Kinda disrespectful.
