Watching First Take and they just reported that Mt. Mutombo has passed away from brain cancer at the age of 58.

RIP Big Man. Once a Knick.

So sad. Did a lot of great charity work. One of the true characters of NBA history and probably the greatest shotblocker ever.

I bumped into Mutombo (literally) back around 2003 or 04 when he was a Knick and living in NYC. What a giant of a human being. He will be missed
