Most of the hype in last season's very good rookie class has gone to LeBron and Carmelo. But when we look at this season's stats, LeBron and Dwayne Wade are in a class by themselves with Carmelo a notch below.

Here are the stats from nba.com

PPG RPG APG SPG BPG FG% FT% 3P% MPG
James 27.3 8.1 6.0 2.18 1.27 .498 .774 .389 41.5
Anthony 20.3 6.3 3.1 1.45 .36 .393 .743 .313 36.3
Wade 25.9 5.1 7.7 1.91 1.55 .544 .769 .500 38.5

Those are the numbers. What do you think?

Wade is impressive, but imagine if Lebron had the opportunity to play with Shaq. He would be awesome.

I agree. But I'd put Wade way ahead of Carmelo.

So would I, but it has nothing to do with numbers. Wade is a more mature player who helps his team more on both ends of the court.
