if the knicks didnt lay out the *negatives* to the team--they would be doing a diservice to themselves and their fans. I point out what needs to be fixed. but I also point out what they are doing well. im sorry im not a rah rah type

Kurt just doesn't really play in the post. He only shoots on the pick and roll when he's open, so he doesn't get fouled.

The guy is still averaging a double double. It's hard to get mad at him because he doesn't get his points at the line.

oh, if he only took 7 fts then he must be horrible and needs to be traded. Only seven free throws? wow trade him for anyone then ..........

if KT's free throw attempts were high we'd be in big trouble because he should never try to play in the post! just do what you do best and shot from the baselines. Which is exactly what he's been doing!

jeeeeeeeeeez

different players do different things.... this is why him and sweetney are a good combo at the 4... the compliment eachother.. sweets gets to the line.. but he needs more touches

STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT KT WITHOUT HIM WE WOULD SUCK, LIKE LAST PLACE SUCK

Kurt is shooting 51% ALL of it on jumpshots. I would even venture to say the only time he's made FTs are a result of loose ball fouls, not on shot attempts.

He doesnt play in the post. 51% is excellent when you consider his role in the offense.

Well said fish

Jumpshooters don't get to the line very much-think Houston. Kt is our only consistent 12-15' option right now. we have Nazr and Sweets inside and Steph and Craw outside-not bad for offensive balance. When they work on D we seem to play well.

Listen BRIGGS, if you don't understand the reason why Kurt has so few free throw attempts then you understand basketball less than I thought.

Kurt, however, is doing exactly what we need him to do. Not to mention, he's among best jumpshooting 4's in the league right now. Can't name too many 4's who hit the open jumper off the pick like him. He's playing great ball at this point. Anyone who can't see this either has a low bball iq or is just trying to make conversation.

To me, its more important that our penetrators (Marbury and Crawford) get to the line more. If they can make themselves drive to the hoop more and draw fouls, it's more effective than having KT post up and drawing fouls.

That'd be like forcing Marbury to just shoot 3s. Why make him do it?, he's better at driving and dishing. Let Sweetney get to the line, he has a post game.

this is such a bad post. kurt is playing AWESOME yet you go and find some stat that doesn't depict him in a good light and post it. absolutely awful. we all know he's not the starting 4 of a championship team but yet you wanted to make a post about his lack of FT's. unreal. you're becoming a parody of yourself.

kurt could easily be the starting 4 on a championship team it just depends on the rest of the players

I just think whoever we have playing the 5 or 3 should be a strong post up player. We don't have that strong post presence, but if we had one, Kurt would be a perfect compliment.

I think it's easier to find a strong post up player, than a strong rebounding, fundamentally sound pick and roll player who gives u 10 rebounds a night. I say we play out the year, and see what we can get as far as the front court goes next year.

This is one of the first times I have seen someone b**** at KT when he's playing WELL and averaging a double-double. What more do you expect of him?

i have no problem w/KT playing his perimeter game as long as Nazr is excelling in the post...you can't have 2 guys clogging up the paint anyway...KT's midrange threat opens up the lane for Steph & Craw to get penetration & for Nazr to get the easy baskets inside when defenses collapse on the penetration.

KT is playing his butt off so far this year. Leave the guy alone! He is rebounding and shooting great from the baseline. Naz is taking the interior space. Relax.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.
