every day, go vote online for Marbs, Craw, KT, and anyone else. i even voted for mohammed as a separate person. let's get alot of votes in

Marbs should be a lock to start, but if the pacers keep winning an JT continues to lead his team the way is been playing, marbs can, and will be in for a tough battle to start.

With tmac gone, pierce should also be a lock, nazy is a dream.

But honestly it's just to early.

Im sorry but Dwayne Wade is the all-star PG in the east this year. even a knick fan has to admit the truth. voting for marbury over wade is a sham.

Heh, already ahead of you. Been voting for Marbs/Craw/Kurt everyday, been alternating between Nazr/Ariza.
Just some supporting votes from an extremely bias fan.

I disagree. I'd have no problem voting for Marbs over Wade. Both have been great and both are deserving. It's easy to idealize Wade right now because he's young and the new thing. Granted I watch Marbs every day and not Wade but I think anyone could make as strong of a case for Marbs.

personally i think Dwayne Wade is a better player overall than Marbury...he plays much better defense, he's younger, more athletic, can score with the best of them & is a difference maker...Marbury's a great player in his own right, but i'd take Wade over him if i had to choose.'

sorry, don't want to make this into a Wade vs. Marbury thread...just thought i'd chime in on that since it was brought up.

of the Knick players this year, i think Marbury is worthy of Allstar consideration as is Kurt Thomas...Marbury might have a hard time making it when you consider he's competing with Wade, Iverson, Billups & Francis, who are all having great years as well.

for sure ai gets one spot. and since there are more knick fans then heat fans starbury should get allstar this year if fans vote......right now wade has a slight edge. if you don't like ai, how could you not, stevie franchise is choice

Wade's playin with Shaq now.

Penny used to look awesome with Shaq. Then even before the injury, Shaq left and Penny went way down.

Marbury is doing it by himself.

Wade can only dream of being the passer Marbury is. Or the shooter. Haven't heard anything special about his D. He is not even a real PG.

Its a sham to pick him over Marbury just because the grass is always greener on the other side.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

completely agree with simrud's post ^^^ except wade does have some nice D. That being said, there's nothing wrong with voting entirely for the knicks starters. nothing at all. You have to support your team, voting for the other teams' guys, who are "always better," is what kept houston out of the asg a few years ago when he was averaging 22-23 ppg and dropping 53 on kobe. It's partially what kept marbury out of the asg last year too.

I think all that kept Marbury out was him switching over to the East in January.

i think Marbury might become the starting point guard for the all star game for the east. Jason Kidd is out of the question with that knee. The only competion Marbury has is Dwayne Wade and Steve Francis.

I think Marbs is the true point guard and he should be the starter
