I think his name is Jack Nolan(advance scout). Does this guy actually watch the games with the teams the knicks are to play next.

If so how did this guy not see what I saw in the raptors wizards game before we played the raptors?

I new that bonner would take the pf out and hit jumpers and I knew that Milt Palacio is not a jump shooter and should never be allowed to drive past our pg but be made to shoot jump shots.

Even the Toronto Announcers guys were making that claim.

He nneds to be held accountable, Toronto is now in our division .

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Whoever did the scouting for the Knicks should get executive of the year award just for spotting Ariza @ #43!

It WAS NOT about Toronto not missing, OK. It was about us giving open look after open look after opern look man. Playa2 is absolutley right, the gameplan was terrible. We were not prepared at all. And even worse, we did not make any adjustments as the game went a long. How many times did have Bonner wide open?

How are we still not able to execute against the zone? How long does it take to implement a freakin system Lenny? Or does he even know what a zone is?

We need a real coach, not a senile senior citizen being guided around by assistants that he did not even pick.

I think Brendan Suhr had some input on who the Knicks drafted.. He also had some input on trades as well..

Listen , im talking about game to game scout. I'm talking about the guy that goes on the road and scouts the other teams that the knicks are playing next. What are you guys bringing up draft scouts waiver wire scouts etc...

His job may be a sinecure at this point, but isn't Dick McGuire still the head scout?

I believe Isiah made the call on Ariza.

good point playa, but with lenny's experience and knowledge of the game.
how much scouting information does lenny really use?

Better question: Who does the scouting for Toronto. I could tell just by watching him that Crawford was a jumpshoooter. How could they ever let him shoot jumpers.

How do you stop somebody from jackin up shots? The point here is that the team was not ready for the 2nd time in a few days to play the right way against the same team.

Palacio? How do you no know how to play Palacio.

playa this thread is interesting because the same thing happened today, with the pick and roll the knicks made the same mistakes, we did not switch, knowing that palacio scrub azz can't shoot, and bonner won't shoot with a guy in his face... It was like we were seeing the pick and roll for the first time ever...

good thing we won tho.....

Yea good thing we won or some would have been calling for the coaches head for the umptenth time.

This is why we aren't as confident when it comes to being prepared with Lenny as head coach. We wonder why the players look confused and out of place.

That's because they're mediocre players. Coaches don't make that much of a difference. A better coach for this team would probably add only about 5 games to the W column, realistically.

When the Knicks lose, the first guy to look at is number 3.

The Jazz ran the same pick and roll for 20 years and noone played it well. Every scout in the NBA is stupid.

Yes.. and while Crawford's shot was obviously huge in beating the Rockets KT shot 11-20 ALL ON THE PICK AND ROLL. You would think JVG who coached KT would know better also, but I guess he's dumb too.

Why are you comparing Palacio and Bonner to Marbury and KT? It was freakin Milt Palacio who can't shoot at all. The point is you go under the screen, and don't have the big help at all. Marbury cans hoot when open. Stockton could shoot when left wide open. Palacio can't. Scout should know that. What is so hard to understand here???
