I ain't going to be vain and say Pacers Rick Carlisle rants has no merit than set up REFs and Pacers two home games for the INDY Comeback into series, expected! Especially Rest of some NBA may see superstar Brunson and bunch of knick good secondary players to be lesser talents.

The fanbase is just so dominant. The arena is loud and for certain away games the Knicks fans take over. It’s easy to hate that. Knicks fans don’t fall in line with the typical level of fan engagement.

For the most part, in my world nobody really cares that much about pro basketball.
Friends that at least notice the NBA think the knicks are kinda cool. They admire Brunson a lot.
Lets be real, NYers are arrogant. Philly fans like to play the tough guy role.
I thought the knick fans that went to Philly were rubbing it in their faces. IF you enjoy that kind of thing, have at it.
There is no definitive answer for the TNT show. Knick fans want respect? Charles thinks the Knicks are not championship caliber and perhaps reacting to an very happy crowd that might be stretching it a bit.
We also been beaten down so long we don't know how to be gracious winners. Gracious winner are those who win a lot and are cool with it. We are so freaking happy as fans we all over the place?

As fake ass drama, TNT got you watching. TNT dudes know you want to see Charles hate on knicks and then eat his crow when they win. You will watch that.
If Knicks lose, then other fans get to enjoy it. Its ratings.
Knick fans want redemption or vindication of some sorts. It not real. Its entertainment.

Can we say the same for Lakers and Celtics?

All those plastic movie stars in LA draw the ire of many, so does all the hot women in MSG (Met gala helped) and others as the knicks are a hot ticket now.
Knick fans love to point out when others hate on our team or fans. That its the league wants us out. Could not be more untrue. Big market teams with huge following make finals run is great for league! Makes big money.

Knick fans are out of sorts. TNT dudes are out of sorts, this team is defying logic a bit. Also, we have not starphuch hype about. No Marbury, no Melo either. Just 2nd round pick from Villanova who we signed and THEN this season is an Allstar and was 5th in MVP voting. Reality is NBA and fans outside of knick world will honor him more after the fact. Melo was an allstar beyond his prime on reputation. Jalen and knicks are building theirs.
The real knick hate has yet to begin. Winning will do that. Enjoy the run guys!

My dad who was born in Northern Florida almost 100 years ago always professed a hate for all things New York. “God Damn Yankees” was a phrase heard a lot and by no means predominantly about the baseball team. I do think it was somewhat tongue in cheek.

However in watching sports in those days - the national game on one or two networks - with no team loyalty he would root for the underdog and I would follow along. I would think a team that had three starters out along with a good reserve plus an injury to its leader and all star that played defense under a coach the divas didn’t wish to play for would be the team he favored in those situations. Unfortunately it says “New York” on the jersey.

It is kind of sad...

Jalen Brunson is the ultimate underdog story - 2nd rd pick, undersized. As likeable as any player in the NBA, high character. Exceeding all expectations and Jordan like.

Thibs is a basketball lifer and the ultimate grinder. Dedicated.

The Knicks are regularly coming back from double digit deficits with hard work and defense.

They are incredibly injured, playing shorthanded, defying odds. They are winning because the players they have left have no fear and are willing to work hard for as long as it takes and do whatever it takes.

Yet the media narrative is people want them to lose, they are a fluke, the NBA is throwing games for them.

This **** is from a movie and they want to knock down the story.

Somewhere in the middle lies the truth. Us, the fans are seeing a spiritual jihad of sorts with emotionality. A romantic quest, the coming of age story, three men who grew up together find even more success in adulthood! And fatherhood!
Jordan like? I love Brunson, but he is not Jordan. 3 40pt games in a row is amazing. Just not a sneaker and iconic logo.

Movie? Like the film "300"? "this is Sparta!!" I know, whole world hates the knicks and the evil corporate media, including Hilary Clinton, the Chinese, George Soros, the jews, the blacks, the Orientals, the illegal immigrants, and the CIA all want them to lose. But really they will draw better ratings if knicks keep going?
But I can see the movie now, first a comic book, then action figures, a novel, and a Netflix series. In time, A broadway musical, "Knicks on Ice live show", and then when retired Jalen and Josh will Co-host a morning show. DDV will open a chain of "Big Ragu" restaurants.
But first we need an ending. Like the movie "Hoosiers", and we need a good one. We also need a good Villain. Hali is not that guy. He is annoying, but not a Jimmy Butler type. Joel was great, but he was just an obstacle.
The TBS dudes? They the 3 witches from "McBeth", the Shakespeare classic story?
Its all formulaic but the story continues......The never ending story!!

Maybe still in time. Lets get a chip. We need a proper ending.

Breen had our back..........
Even in a loss it was inspirational effort.
Hate we lost but it was a hell of a game!

Furthermose Knicks has rising stud J.Brunson and overachieved alot of NBA expectations mines, yours and our wonderful NY hoops fanbase.

ALL I hear more than Knicks success is the Draymond 'bum' Green, Barkely's, Shaq's all soiling the Knicks success NBA 2023/24
as if these Nova' Knicks been more Lucky and really GOOD.

SCREWWWWWWW the NBA freaking experts. Sure we overachieved a bit , had some luck and got better each part of season
to reach playoff.

There's hardly any credit given onto Knicks for being in 2023/24 playoffs in first place.
