Defense has to step it up and then run them out in transition.
"Rope-a-dope". Perhaps if you can't stop Embiid you let him have his but deny others. Embiid gets tired.
This was game one and two to some extent.
We can guess.

Doing the DVR thing. Not watching a 1pm game smack in the middle of the day. Too pretty a day to do so.

This league is corrupt. The fact they didn't at least fine Embiid is an absolute joke, nor warn them this will not be tolerated going forward. Embiid voice clips show he told Donte and others, what are you going to do about it? Basically admitting he is a dirty POS who can do whatever he wants and nobody can do anything about it. The game should fairly be decided on the courts, not steered for ratings. Just because it has been going on forever, doesn't mean it should continue in the future.

Imagine if the Lakers got swept. I didn't watch the game, but I bet that was never going to be allowed to happen. I would almost bet a lot of money the Suns win game 4. Call games fair for all teams and players, if you want a fight, let both sides fight. Honestly, I think people get tired of seeing the same teams win. I know I do, boring.

The NHL doesn't have the same following, but I doubt they care if the Rangers sweep the Caps today, nor will they mandate the refs to help Washington extend the series.

We have and continue to teach future kids how to do things wrong. Carrying, walking, fake Euro-steps, playing matador defense, chucking low % 3s, and now it is allowable to intently hurt your opponent, act like a whiney beatch, get all the calls and complain for more. Entitlement at its worst.

You would think a fragile boy like Embiid would respect Mitch has had a similar path with injuries and not threaten his livelihood with such a reckless cowardly act. Joel and his coach's excuses are pathetic. You were about to get dunked on, instead of pretending you were protecting yourself, move out of the landing area, you simply got beat on that play, and go make a play of your own.

I hate to see it, but he hurt one of ours, the league, refs, nor the offenders will do anything about it, so we must. If that is allowable play, take Embiid out. Who will we allow to be hurt next on our Knicks? Embiid isn't going to change, he has more playoff techs than Green, enough said. That one play changed the whole game.

I hope the Knicks have a statement game win today. Knicks play physical, take it to Embiid, and walk out of Philly 3-1. The best way to silence clowns and the NBA meddling, is to beat them regardless and say, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

LET'S GO KNICKS!!! F Philly and the rest like them.

He should not play. He has a clear limp. No need to mess up his ankle worse. I will always remember Grant Hill killing his career to play on a bad ankle.

I’m excited to see what Precious can bring on both ends in this series. We might need a little tweak in the form of speed and more perimeter savvy to guard this version of Embiid whose largely shooting jumpers and facing up.

I’ve thought we need Precious on the perimeter and I like that he attacks when left open on offense.

So now if someone is on the floor you can just run into them for a free foul? I seriously can't stand modern NBA. They are trying to do everything except play basketball.

The moment the Knicks are done in the playoffs I think I am done too. I just don't enjoy the NBA anymore. This is not the game I grew up loving.
