TT is going to average 22/7 in the next five games, and you all will want to keep him.

I want TT traded for Big Dog. I hope it gets so bad with Philly that they are forced to take on TT contract. At least Big Dog has a HUGE expriring contract.

Nah. To me that just means his trade value goes up and we can get somebody better than Big Dog. His antics has gone stale. He is not a Knick. Lazy players need not apply.

I just want our players to succeed. I want all of our players to do well, because their success is ours also.

Robinson would be a bad fit, worse than Thomas... another guy that needs to score to be involved in the game. Thomas, down the stretch last year, was very good. I wouldn't give up on him for an expiring contract that wouldn't net us cap space next year. The window opens when Houston comes off the cap. Ariza is a huge talent. I can live with he and Thomas at the 3.

There's a difference between routing for a player and
then predicting that his output will be 50% better than
his career avgs for no reason whatsoever, when actually
it has been 50% lower this season.

It doesn't matter how you start, it is the finish product that matters. The Ravens a couple of years ago was one of the worst team in the league, but they finished with a championship. It is just like when you are cooking, it takes a little while for all of the ingredients to mix and create a flavor.

During the slump, I have seen something in TT's game that wasn't there. I just hope that he continues to play like he has, but shoot the ball much better. Defense is easy, you just have to be determined when guarding the other guy to try to shut him down. TT is long enough to do just that. He may not have the foot speed necessary to corner the opposing small SFs, but he can use his team-mates to his advantage.

That is just it. He is lazy and does not do anything defensively or rebound wise. Would it really be too much to ask for him to put up his hands when he is on defense. If I were him, everytime Nazr and KT gets those boards I would be running my butt off and fill in the lanes.

He is lazy. Want proof. You said it yourself it takes him awhile to get heated up. Man, if you bust your tail at the beginning of the game you will be looked upon as a complete player and not somebody we have to wait for in the end.

Another possible SF?

GS is having problems with Mike Dunleavy. Would you do this trade?

New York trades: SF Tim Thomas (8.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 0.5 apg in 24.8 minutes)
PF Mike Sweetney (7.9 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 0.8 apg in 17.4 minutes)
New York receives: C Dale Davis (2.3 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 0.5 apg in 15.8 minutes)
SF Mike Dunleavy (11.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.9 apg in 31.2 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -3.0 ppg, +1.9 rpg, and +2.1 apg.

Golden State trades: C Dale Davis (2.3 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 0.5 apg in 15.8 minutes)
SF Mike Dunleavy (11.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.9 apg in 31.2 minutes)

Golden State receives: SF Tim Thomas (8.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 0.5 apg in 24.8 minutes)
PF Mike Sweetney (7.9 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 0.8 apg in 17.4 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +3.0 ppg, -1.9 rpg, and -2.1 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

A player with good low-post scoring potential like Sweetney is harder to get than an athletic SF like Dunleavy. I wouldn't make this trade.

I wouldn't do that. I would prefer to have Sweetney over Dunleavy, and I am curious to see what TT's expiring contract can do for us this deadline or next offseason.
